How thick are these presses?

The base of the pressing surface is an 1 1/4”thick. The top part of the pressing surface is a little more than 1” thick.

This press is a work of art. I would like to order another as a gift, do you ever engrave them?

No, I've never though about engraving it.

I live in a humid climate... can this press warp over time??

There is always a small risk of warping. As long as you oil the wood often and avoid prolonged direct sunlight on the press the risk of warping will be very small. The design of our presses are such that to minimize this risk.
