Granted I only received this item today, so I can't speak for its longevity.. but.. it's fabulous! The keys at the top are fabulous for quick access to one's music, email etc. The fact that I can switch between alphabetical and qwerty is really novel and extremely handy for a teacher of special needs kids! Some kids will only be physically capable of pecking with one finger and the alphabetic layout is proving to be very popular for them as opposed to qwerty. I find this a decent quality item and with a little common sense, the fact that there are no instructions is not a major deterrent to its use. Definitely recommend.

this makes writing comprehensible, i don't have to "guess" where each letter is - now I KNOW where it is!! - superb keyboard, it seems like it is good quality too.:-)

So far, it works fine, but only arrived yesterday, so if there are problems, I may amend this review later. It comes entirely without instructions, except three on the back of its box: plug it into your USB port; pull out the feet on the bottom of the keyboard; "Choose the 'ABC' key [that's apparently the default] for the alphabetic keyboard or the 'F' key for common IM abbreviations." No clue to tell us which is the 'one key' to switch between the ABC keyboard and the QWERTY one, no help on the meaning of the IM abbreviation keys.As a help to the confused, I will reveal that the secret of switching between keyboards is that if the red light by ABC is on [upper right of keyboard] and you want the QWERTY keyboard, click the shiny chrome ABC button in the top row. And presumably vice versa. How hard would it be to put THAT on the box?Also, the ABC-keyboard letters and symbols are in white, therefore easily seen, and the QWERTY-keyboard ones are in red - not easily seen except in bright light. When I read the product description, I supposed that the switching-keyboards maneuver would somehow change what appeared on the faces of the keys, perhaps by some light under the keyboard being on or off. Nope - all characters are right there, white above and to the left of red, all the time. I've been a hunt-and-peck typist for years and have become quite speedy at it. but this device has set me back to REAL hunt-and-peck, and having to examine the keys very closely, especially as the red 'o' key is easy to confuse with the white 'o' key - my eyes pick up the white 'o' when what I want is the red 'o' on the next key to the left. I foresee many typos, which I need no help in producing

This is a fantastic USB keyboard. It doesn't only looks great and is ergonomically very comfortable to use but this keyboard is also highly functional. You can switch from ABCD to QWERTY with one button. It also has dedicated keys for commonly used short form abbreviations (ASAP, LOL etc.). Finally it works perfectly in Windows computers, Macs and even with a Raspberry Pi3.

Arrived and time and works even better than I expected.

It is easier for my 4 yo granddaughters fingers to reach keys than one I bought that was supposed to be for children. Not used to having keys in alphabetical order and QWERTY yet. Switchover is a breeze. Love the red color.

This keyboard is amazing!

It may be easier for beginners but you are hindering them. They will never learn to type correctly with the keys in alphabetical order, thus will never be able to work a computer properly in this modern world. Get them a real keyboard.
