This is my first Salt and Stone purchase. I was actually drawn to the simplicity of the name and being earth elements. I thought it sounded cool. I purchased a small lotion in the Saffron and Cedar fragrance. The fragrance is AMAZING, I cannot quit smelling it, it’s that good. It makes me think of sweater weather, autumn, cozy fires, hunkering indoors on a snowy day. It’s comfort in a tube. It also reminds me of Prada by Prada, which unfortunately isn’t made anymore and it was a favorite of mine. But now Saffron and Cedar is my new favorite. Besides the amazing smell, the lotion is so hydrating and luxurious. I pretty much never use lotion on my skin because I’m too lazy or too pressed for time. So I’m always perpetually chapped and red and now it’s getting cold so that all will get worse. I applied this one time and the next day my skin was like velvet. Wow, wow, wow. I’m definitely going to buy the larger lotion and the shower gel too. I’ll probably skip the fragrance spray because I prefer just lotion and shower gel, but it definitely has staying power. My one lotion application lasted all day long. I’ve also ordered the other scents to try and am excited to test them out, but I think saffron and cedar will still remain my fave. Do yourself a favor and try the small lotion. If you don’t like it, send it back easy peasy. But you’ll like it, and you deserve to treat yourself to this luxurious scent! EDIT—— the Black Rose and Oud scent is NOT for me. While the lotion is amazingly hydrating, the BLACK ROSE AND OUD scent smells like a a stale ashtray to me. Nobody wants to smell like that. I’ll be sticking to Saffron and Cedar, it’s the best scent. EDIT #2: I have tried Santal and Vetiver and LOVE IT. I like that it’s more subtle and doesn’t scream from across the room. It’s the sort of scent that is smelled up close and personal. It has a warm flax and linen smell and is comforting like warm milk, hot oatmeal, a warm glass of milk, along those lines. I really like it. ALSO, I like the Bergamot and Hinoki. It’s also a more subtle scent and is more of a clean and fresh scent. Makes me think of warm sunshine.

I absolutely love this lotion and honestly love all of Salt & Stone’s scents. The Santal & Vetiver fragrance is beautiful—warm, clean, and sophisticated without being overpowering. The lotion itself absorbs quickly, feels lightweight yet deeply hydrating, and leaves my skin soft and smooth all day with no greasy residue. It’s perfect for daily use and works well year-round. The pump packaging is sleek and convenient, and a little goes a long way. This has become a staple in my routine, and I always look forward to trying (and loving) every scent they offer. Highly recommend!

Love the scent of this cream. The scent is so fresh and nice! I also use the stick deodorant in this same Santal and Vetiver scent and it’s the best deodorant ever! It works very well, is long lasting, and is non- irritating. This brand is great across all their products. So far this is the only scent I’ve tried, but I’m looking forward to trying them all! Highly recommend this line of products. Great quality and ingredients. Good for the skin. Easy on the skin. Very moisturizing. One note of importance: with the deodorant stick you will need to twist it back down before putting the lid back on or it won’t have room to close and might squish the top of the deodorant stick. The cream comes in a metal tube, so it’s important to squeeze from the bottom up to get the most product use out of the tube.

This was a repurchase for me. I absolutely love the Santal & Vetiver scent. The lotion itself is lovely — it absorbs well and does not leave the skin feeling greasy. The scent isn’t overpowering, yet it remains gentle, subtle throughout the day. I find this particular scent combination very sensuous and lush. I also purchased the Black Rose & Oud lotion; unfortunately, it wasn’t my cup of tea. I’m sure it will be very pleasing to others — after all, scents (like oils and perfumes) are highly individualized. Fragrance can even change depending on your body’s pH. Have you ever tried a perfume that smelled amazing at first, but once you bought and wore it, you didn’t like it at all? It’s happened to me — and many others. Still, this opens the door to my olfactory curiosity to try more of their scents. Let’s see how it goes! Thank you, Salt & Stone 😊

Great quality & very moisturizing! Good value too. Unfortunately, in my opinion, this scent has an end note that smells old-lady-ish. I don't see it being unisex either. I ended up giving it to my elderly mother and she loves it.

Love this lotion! Smells amazing and makes my skin so soft. It is a bit pricey. I do love that Amazon carries the brand so I can get it fairly quickly. It tends to be included in the prime day sale so I would recommend to try it on sale and yes it will be worth it!

LOVE the smell of saffron and cedar, but was disappointed that the scent is very faint on my skin. For the price (a lot more than I would normally spend), I expected a higher quality scent.

The scent is fine but it disappears very quickly. For a $20 tiny tube of lotion you’d think the scent would be stronger.

BLack Rose & Oud - Amazing smell, admittedly doesn’t last forever but I’d say the body lotion is stronger and better lasting than the hand cream. All salt & Stone smell amazing but I like Black Rose & Oud, smells sexy I think, Saffron & Cedar smells just like rouge baccarat, Neroli & Basil is deliciously fresh and clean!!

Bought as a gift, and it went down a treat! It has a lovely scent and hydrates the skin very well.. I would definitely recommend it! :)

Nice…expected a stronger smell due to the ingredients, but wasn’t, the smell stays on a while, albeit a little watery.

This has a nice clean smell. It is creamy and a little goes a long way. It also absorbs quickly and leaves skin smooth and moist for over 24 hours. I would recommend
