Seamless Total Coverage in House and Yard
The COVR range extenders are easy to install and work like you wouldn't believe. My first attempt to install didn't work right because my cell service was on in my phone. You MUST turn it off to install properly. Well, that only took 5 minutes to fix and my house and yard were flooded with WiFi signal. House is 2,250 sq.ft. and yard is about 13,000 sq.ft. I can actually keep connection to my mail box around the corner. After I had them installed for a few weeks I realized I could back haul. My house is wired with cat 6 and I plugged a network cable into each repeater. That gave me a big boost in signal and the WiFi signal with any device anywhere in the house or garage is pinned. I never have trouble when I move around the house. The system effortlessly and seamlessly switches from one to the other. With the ease of installation and excellent coverage I highly recommend the COVR system.

total garbage!
I really....REALLY wanted to make this work for me. I've been working in IT and have a very strong networking background. After reading the reviews here, I thought to myself 'these bad reviews are from nontechie people and they have no idea what they're taling about'......boy was I wrong!!!!1. setup processI've never had to EVER put my phone into airplane mode to setup a device....WTF. (at lease the app tells you in the setup process to disable cellular network)2. firmwareI made sure to upgraded to the latest firmware (1.08). After several reboots, 1/2 devices is showing up as 1.07.3. Wifi SSIDit only supports "Only A-Z, a-z, 0-9, “-”, “_”, and spaces are allowed"this is very unfortunate. We should be able to use any character we want for higher security4. Router / Bridge modeI already have a very robust and capable router. I wanted to use this system as just Access Point mode. I had to settle for bridge mode. After switching to bridge mode, I lost guest-wifi ability. Again...WTF?!?5. point devicesthe 2 devices are no longer showing as being connected to the system when I use wired connection for the backhual6. high latencyone of the reviews mentioned slow connection. download speeds are VERY SLOW. I have 200mb internet connection. I'm barely able to get 3mbps when connected to this system.Maybe I got a broken unit(s) like other reviewers? I'm not sure. what I do know is like the other bad reviewers, I had a really bad experience with this. I'm going to return it back.

Works well at a bargain price
Very pleased with this product- helped increase my wifii signal upstairs to a normal level so I can use my tablet and desktop pc up there again. Less than half the price of other extenders.

Mom's little helper
We had satellite internet and it wouldn't reach through the whole house UNTIL I purchased these. These little things are amazing!

One of two items was previously used.
One of the two identical items that I ordered arrived used; paperwork missing or written on, packed-in parts incorrect, etc. As I was in a pinch, I used it anyway and it does seem to be working. Seller needs to do a better job of checking their returns.

I'm sending mine back
I purchased this to replace my Apple timecapsule/airport extreme & airport express which is aging out. Here's how it went for me:I opened the box and the instructions say to download the App before disconnecting my existing wifi. OK, I did that. The app wants me to turn LOCATION services on or I can't use the app. Huh. Not sure why they need my location that's creepy. But I give them that access and it seems to installed OK from there. My fiber modem feeds the Dlink base and since the airport extreme still works, I feed it off a ethernet cable from the Dlink. After a little messing around all nodes seem to work and cover the whole house. Using speed test app on my phone I get >300 Mbps near the base station and no worse the 10 Mbps in various corners. Should be plenty of speed for normal use.But the iPhone wifi says "weak security" and I should switch from WPA2-TKIP to WPA2-AES. On the web page and app there doesn't seem to be that option available so I call DLink service. They pick up the phone without much hold time (good). DLink says to upgrade the firmwear, but not to the one on the app, the technician sends me a link to a new firmwear I have to download and install. So I did that, but one of the remote nodes won't come back on line (it just stays with a red LED which never changes to orange or white). And the new firmwear doesn't seem to solve the problem with the iPhone either, although more internet reading says that this is an iPhone issue, and most other devices will automatically attach via WPA2-AES so maybe it doesn't matter. Time invested so far about 4 hours. So I leave it as is for about a week with just the base and one node to see if we want to invest the time to troubleshoot farther. During this week, the working remote node is set up close to my wife's desktop (about 6' away) and that node seems happy--it will acquire signal and the LED stays white. Never the less, my wife complains her video links freeze in the middle of zoom calls, and logging into some of her remote systems won't work because they timeout. When these problems happen she switches back the Apple Airport and the problem goes away (which implies it's a wifi device issue, not a internet feed to the house issue). My experience is that as I roam around the house sometimes my cell phone won't load web pages--maybe it is losing the beam? But when this happens I check which wifi I'm on, and then do a speed check, and by the time I've done that it seems to be OK so I don't know what the problem is.Overall, the wifi in my house seems to work, just not instantaneously & reliably. For >$150 I'd like better. And my wife isn't happy so we are done.

Easy to setup, excellent wifi mesh system
I was surprised how easy to setup the whole system! The router just need to be plugged to the Fios main router, after that plugged in two AP units. The rest are pretty much automatically activated. I then control the whole system thru the Dlink APP. Though the other reviews mentioned about the security warning message, I could monitor the wifi units and found no spam could hack in.
