I used the recommended glue and rolled the product with a heavy roller to help with the install. Then put a heavy weight on the project while the glue cured. Seems to be a good product although I suspect it will be hard to keep clean.

As others have said, it is stiff and tightly rolled but weighting down my 48” strip helped prepare it. My camper step project is small and it looks great. I did clamp it on the metal step for several hours after reading others’ reviews that corners or edges can come up. Mine hasn’t been weather-tested yet but it will be under the camper awning or tucked under the camper while underway. My bamboo step insert was handsome but the black mold was a constant maintenance issue. Someone recommended I scotchguard my new step to avid staining, since it’s not in a clean boat environment, but rather, in campsite settings. Might try that. Really pleased with how this turned out.

would prefer a flooring without the peel and no stick. I folded to see how well it would stick to itself....it comes apart. No confidence is the glue lasting. also the memory of this stuff is unreal. I still have some in a 85 degree garage that has not flattened out.

Overall I like this foam flooring a lot, it is tough and has a very nice feel. I got this to add a nice wood strip styled floor to my Son's wagon. I wanted something very durable, weatherproof, comfortable to sit on, plus something that added a bit of style. This product so far definitely checks all of those boxes. I only had to ding it a star because it was a bit of a pain to work with. It came rolled up quite tightly and when unrolled the backing kept separating from the foam and causing the foam to pucker and wrinkle. It ended up taking me a few days to get it to lay out flat enough to actually work with. However, despite the difficulty with getting it to lay out I would definitely still get it again for any similar future projects. Overall it is a nice product.
