Quality paddock boots
I got these after my TuffRider paddock boots, after 2 years, started to come apart at the seams. It isn't a huge step up in price (especially if you nab them on sale) but to me, the quality is a significant improvement over the TuffRiders. They just got a polish and a shine for my schooling show this weekend. They are really what I look for in paddock boots--good for riding but not so fancy that I'm upset about mud or muck. The only potential issue I have is something that I have with lots of boots (including Docs, so it's not a quality thing) and it's that the proper fit for the length of my foot from heel to toe is not the same as the proper fit for my foot from sole to top of foot. Like, the top face of my foot is just...high? So there's room aplenty in the toes, but where the ankle goes into the foot, that's where the fit will be tightest for me, and in boots that sometimes means going up a size. However, if they fit properly around the ankle, there's no issue with sliding toes even if there is extra space, so it works out fine.

Perfect for women AND men
Saxon Ladies Syntonia Zip Paddock Boot is great for the person in your life who rides horses. My sixteen year old son (!) rides horses, and has ridden since he was nine years old. In the area we are in we have a hard time finding places to sell to a man. We have to buy everything online. He recently outgrew the paddock boots I did find locally for him three years ago. These fit a size 8 men's foot medium width perfectly-if you have a boy you are ordering these for, we've found that one half size up does the trick for us. The men's paddock boots look identical to the women's-so who cares? Only you will know you got your son or man in your life a woman's pair of boots. These are functional. They are not for shows. They are for exercise with the horse only. We've had these about two months now and they work fine. To me, they look fine, but these are plastic. My son says these work, and are comfortable and he would also not wear a pair of long boots. Please keep in mind that you may get what you pay for-if you ride more often, you might want a more expensive, leather pair of riding boots. These are perfect for riding once weekly which is what my son does and he does not show at this time.

Perfect for What I Need
I bought these boots to use during weekly lessons over the next year. After a trip to Iceland to ride the Icelandic horses scheduled for June 2020, I'll be hanging up my riding gear for good. Iceland doesn't allow gear that's been used in other countries without lots of icky disinfecting potions, so I got these to serve as my US boots so I can save my all-weather boots for the trip. These boots have nice, thick rubber soles and I get lots of support from the uppers! The only downside is that they put a line of pressure across the top of my foot, but this is diminishing with each use as I break them in.Very good value for the price!Size runs true.

Great paddock boots for the beginning rider.
These are the 2nd pair we have bought for my daughter. Kids feet grow fast so having a good quality boot is essential especially with developing feet.I prefer to not have her wear shoes at the equestrian school that other kids wear, so I have been buying her shoes form the moment she started riding. She loves these and can put them on herself wit the zipper and she even wears them out when not riding and they are comfortable for her to wear. She hasn't graduated up to full length boots yet so She wears these with chaps and they are excellent for her. I highly recommend these. cant beat them for quality, price and comfort.

Good quality for the price!
I needed a new pair of paddock boots that wouldn't break the bank just to hack around in. My kids have a Equi**** brand that have held up very well for them but I wanted to try these Saxon boots with hopes they may be a little better quality. They are super comfortable from the get go, easy to break in and look nice for the price. I just hope they hold up well in the coming months when the rain starts! As a side note, I initially ordered a size 7, which is my normal size in all boots and shoes and had to exchange them for a 6.5, so in my opinion, they run just slightly big.

Blisters after wearing for a few minutes!
These boots are AWFUL!!! They're so uncomfortable and stiff. I developed a blister on the back of my foot after walking out to the pasture. I am returning them. They suck!

Tight ankles
I ordered these to wear for my weekly riding lessons. I ordered my normal size and they fit well in terms of length; however, they pinched and were tight around my ankles. I'm not a skinny person, but I also don't have particularly wide calves, so this kind of surprised me. It's possible that after some use, they may have loosened up/stretched and become more supple, but I decided I'd rather not wait and find out. I didn't have issues with the boots otherwise. Hope this helps someone.

Great riding boots
My daughter wears these for riding lessons and they are great. Won't protect your toes if the horse steps on them though. The faux leather holds up well over time.
