PERFECT FOR THE ELDERLY
This cane provides a seat which easily folds out when needed. This capability is especially needed by the elderly. The elderly, when on a trip, a cruise or even on a jaunt to the local supermarket will frequently need to rest a few minutes from time to time. The many ailments of this group range from worn out knees or back problems to heart ailments. There are seldom seats available when and where they are needed. This cane is perfect for this need. It provide a good cane for walking and an excellent seat for resting. The seat is supported by a tripod, which is stable when used properly with the person facing the longer hand holding portion of the cane.

Better than I thought, but smaller than I thought (seat)
I bought this to use while "standing" in line for a concert in SF. because of a recent knee injury. Concert was general admission so I was also going to use it when my knee started to hurt, between bands.I called the venue to make sure I could bring it in and they said it was NOT allowed. Not sure if I had an actual ADA placard, if it would have made a difference?I never got to use it, but as a seat it seemed like it would do the job. was skeptical about the sturdiness, but it held up when I tried sitting on it at the house. The cane handle faces FORWARD, BETWEEN your legs, NOT behind you, like I had seen in some pics of others with a similar product. The seat looked too small, but once seated it was ok. Not meant to be some big cushy rest seat, but got you off your feet if needed.Using as an actual walking cane might have been a little awkward? I knew that there would be one leg that was longer than the others. But because it has 3 legs and they all had to be close in length to balance when used as a seat. The 2nd and 3rd leg were barely shorter, which made it hard to use like a regular cane. As you walked ahead and the cane would slightly tip, you'd feel it hit the nest leg before you lifted it to put ahead of you. Hard to explain, but you feel it as soon as you walk with it.Definitely worth it if you need to take a load off when no other seats are around. Bummed that I didn't get to use it, so I decided to return it.

Great cane chair
I was a bit skeptical when I order this cane chair. I am a big guy with some knee issues so I needed it to be reliable/useful. I was not disappointed. Light weight and sturdy, the chair is all I hoped for> Great price too!

flashlight bracket wrong--not a seat cover---UPDATE 5/12/22
the bracket sent for the flashlight holds it in the wrong direction--it points the flashlight up or down--NOT forward where you are walking! Cheap flashlight too, without batteries. The chair itself is fine, and sturdy--but I paid the extra for the flashlight. Should have gotten the one with the flashlight IN the handle itself, but this one had the sturdier looking legs. Also--the seat "cover" it shows is NOT what comes with it--not a plush red cover, but a cheap stick-on piece of foam. If it breaks or wears off, you'll be left with a sticky mess. Just don't put it on. And, although the piece of paper that came with it explained the parts in English, it is not an instruction manual--no directions on how to assemble or put on the flashlight.UPDATE---Apparently the seller has already gone back to the fluffy red cover--awaiting mine now. Also--the flashlight bracket actually swivels--NOT something you see at all, as it does look like one solid piece. Seller did contact me to tell me that. Hopefully this fact will be added to the instructions. :-)

Yes, please, give me a break
This cane/seat has allowed me to go to Mardi Gras, walk like a tourist in my city, and enjoy a trip to the museum. I tire easily and this light weight cane/seat is perfect for a break.

broke under weight of 240 pound man
Purchased 2 of these about 26 months ago. Wife and I have used them a couple of dozen times. The leg with the handle bent about 20 degrees with me properly sitting on it on a level hard surface. I weigh 240 pounds, well under the rated strength. I purchased a replacement with a higher weight limit from another company.

Assists For Walking Or Sitting
This item is truly a God send. I met a lady that had one and not knowing quite what it was I asked her if she could open it and she did. A cane when walking...need to sit down? Got that covered too all in one item. Excellent. Thank you.

Light never worked
Light on cane does not work! Love the chair. I'll keep it but I'm disappointed.
