Men's Freezelx V5 Lacrosse Shoes

These are my high school daughter's favorite lacrosse cleats and all she wears. She likes the style and that they have a little extra width in the toe box and the ankle support they provide. The soft collar is also very comfortable around the ankle and the cleats provide good grip. She wasn't quite ready for a new pair but we got these on sale for a price I couldn't pass up.

I play Ultimate and I have primarily worn soccer cleats for my 15yr+ of playing. I was initially very hesitant to try Lacrosse cleats as they often have restrictive ankles and feel heavy. These New Balance FreezeLX are game changing! One of the things I was not expecting was the comfort. Soccer cleats are all about getting the most touch on the ball so they are typically incredibly thin and uncomfortable for long tournament weekends. The cushion of the sole and the entire interior of this cleat is stunning. 8 game weekends are easy and I typically only have to change out my socks once a day. The biggest adjustment for these cleats is the cleat pattern. If you are used to turning / change of direction quickly and frequently you will feel a bit more of a "bite" than usual. However, I have adjusted a bit by sinking into the cut and it feels fairly natural now. Finally, after roughly two seasons I can also highly recommend these cleats for their durability. I would typically be starting on my next pair of soccer cleats by the end of a season (roughly 6-8 tournaments, weekly practices, pickup, etc.). These cleats have shown no sign of significant wear other than around the heel. The downside to that cushiony inside is that they DO retain smells and wetness, but I suggest using a charcoal or rice bag to prevent this post-match. Highly recommended!

I ordered 1/2 a size smaller than recommended by Amazon, overall they are super light and they work amazing. They fit well and have great traction compared to my previous ones. They are also good for people with flat feet and great for the sport of ultimate

Legit the best pair of cleats I’ve ever owned. They are perfect for all feet types and comfortable! I admire the color ways and the lightweight but durable quality of the cleats. I play football (offensive linemen) and I’m a mid/low cut type of player especially when I’m pulling for traps and counters, etc. It’s about time New Balance got into the cleat game!

Awesome shoe!! New Balance has been a go to shoe for most sports based on their feel and durability. I purchased the V4 two years ago and they were great. Purchased the same size in V5 but they didn’t fit the same. Not in the length but in the width. Passed my return window so was unable to confirm on size but did see they offered wides with the V5. If your like me, might want to opt for the wides. Good luck and play hard

Purchased for grandson who plays lacrosse. These definitely help him stay upright and not slide of the slick wet turf. Comfy and padded

We have bought two pairs directly from the New Balance and this is the first time we’ve bought some on Amazon. Unfortunately quality control wasn’t the best, after 5 weeks of just practice two times a week the heel started to disconnect. Of course it happened after the return window time.
