Firstly... if you are bothered by a classic leather bag that scratches easily.... then do not buy leather bags... because you don't understand what real character is all about!! It tells a story of the product!! (A bit like how the trunk and branches of an old oak tree tells us the story of its life). Or solid wood kitchen worktop. Of course, you can be very careful with the bag and try your best to avoid it getting scratched, but that would just be stupid, because it's not a mobile phone or a laptop!! It's just a bag!! And you should treat it as such. Just remember that it becomes 'a part of you', and you are telling the story of its life. Then you would truly enjoy the pleasure of owning it.The real leather and metal buckle (magnetic catch) gives it a real authentic, classic messenger bag look. This slightly bigger bag is much better because it is still rather small, but it can fit in it a lot. Easily holds my iPad mini; which I often have inserted in the small back zip compartment for quick access (it sticks out a little, but it is perfectly safe because that zip compartment is obviously against your body). The larger of the small pocket (under the flap cover) is great for wallet, coin purse, headphone cable etc. Finally for that original authentic vibe you have the scent of the real leather that really gives it that authentic rural countryside feel.

After using this bag after one month,The stitching around one of the pockets came away,You would think leather bags would have a double stitch rather than single.

This bag was great, the color, the space and the smell of. Leather. Speacially for you wants to carry a laptop as well.

I've not given this to the recipient yet - so fingers crossed! He already has one in black, and it just doesn't go with summer kit. By having one in each colour he can rotate, and hopefully keep them in great condition. Great, roomy, and strong bag. We've had canvas ones before, but they tend to get rather messed up and are very hard to keep clean.
