I've only ran a couple small projects so far but I could barely smell the wood I was engraving which is a huge difference compared to just venting out some old windows. My air quality monitor sitting a few feet away didn't flag anything either which is good. Plus, the small size is nice because space here is at a premium and I have to squeeze as much functionality into every inch as possible.

Seriously, if you've got the Genmitsu Kiosk, you NEED this smoke remover. I hooked mine up and it fits perfect. It runs so quiet, I barely notice it, but it sucks up all that laser smoke and stuff like magic. Changing the filter is super easy too. Trust me, this thing keeps the air so much cleaner. You're gonna love it as much as I do. Get one!

Does all the extraction I need? I even use it for soldering great upgrade for a laser

[Update] support reached out to try and resolve some of the issues I was having. Their suggestions were very good. Your instinct is to have the extractor running at the highest setting which doesn’t allow the filters time to do their job. Instead you should try different settings, for me the middle setting made a huge difference, so much so that this little unit I highly recommend. Thanks for reaching out and helping. The Genmitsu Smoke Purifier initially gives the impression of being an effective solution for maintaining clean air during laser engraving or cutting tasks. It performs adequately in clearing visible smoke, and the workspace appears noticeably clearer while the unit is operating. However, its performance in removing fumes and odors is significantly lacking. Despite the apparent visual improvement, the purifier does not effectively eliminate the underlying chemical smells or airborne contaminants. Strong, unpleasant odors persist long after use, indicating that the filtration system does not sufficiently capture or neutralize gaseous byproducts. Given these shortcomings, the Genmitsu Smoke Purifier falls short of expectations for a device marketed to handle both smoke and fumes. While it may offer some benefit for light, short-term use, it is not a viable substitute for proper ventilation or a higher-quality unit. I will continue to use for the next 7 days and update my review but I feel this is probably going to be returned.

Aspira bene, ma non elimina gli odori e filtrata davvero male. Pessimo acquisto. Sconsigliatissimo. Peccato perché aspirava bene, ma se non filtra bene i fumi non serve a molto.

I work in a small space and needed something for my small laser engraver that I have on a tent type enclosure. This works wonderfully! It is loud at its highest setting but that doesn’t bother me. Would highly recommend it!
