Works great
Easy to set up and use but expensive. Exactly what you expect from an apple product. Overall I think it's worth it if you can swing it if you, like me, just want your technology to work and not give you an additional headache with navigating 47 remotes. This remote controls the tv (volume and power) and system so we don't have extra clutter. We switched from an old chrome cast and the experience is night and day - it now feels seamless. Remote is great (the first version of these were trash, but love the new one) and it's so simple to use, I could teach my aging parents.

Apple streaming box is easy to connect to home network
Apple streaming box is an excellent value it’s easy to set up and the video quality is excellent. This is my second Apple streaming box our first one we had for ten years so definitely a good investment highly recommend. The Apple streaming box easily connects to Wi-Fi.

An excellent choice!
We left the expensive premium channel package from Xfinity package and installed the Apple TV and love it. Two(2) down sides are Apple TV will only host 1 remote and there is NO pause on Apple TV Streaming.

Apple TV 4K
The Apple TV 4K (3rd Gen) is certainly one of the most powerful streaming devices available at present. In contrast to traditional streaming boxes, it features the A15 Bionic chip, which renders it significantly faster and more efficient than competitors like the Fire TV Cube 2nd gen or NVIDIA Shield TV. It supports HDR10, HDR10+, and Dolby Vision. In terms of audio, it supports Dolby Atmos and Apple’s ALAC audio format for lossless sound. It would have been great if it had included DTS:X support. The user interface is extremely smooth. It’s hands down the best and simplest UI to navigate. App switching happens instantly, and there is zero lag—something that isn’t always the case with Roku, Fire TV, or Chromecast. What it particularly shines in is its seamless integration with the Apple ecosystem. AirPlay 2 enables you to easily stream from your iPhone or Mac, SharePlay allows for group viewing sessions via FaceTime, and iCloud Photos turns your TV into a unified photo gallery. If you own Apple devices, the experience is impeccable—control it using Siri, leverage HomeKit for smart home automation, or connect your AirPods for a private, spatial audio experience. And what about gamers? Apple Arcade on this device is a hidden gem. If you are deeply woven into the Apple ecosystem, the Apple TV 4K is more than merely another streaming device—it serves as an extension of your entire digital lifestyle.

Makes it easy to ditch the cable TV providers.
We decided to cut the cable on our cable TV provider and switch to all streaming services, adding Hulu Live for access to the TV networks that my wife loves. By putting one of these on our TVs, we could turn the older 'dumb TVs' into 'smart TVs' and, even better, they all work the same, regardless of brand. When we add a new app to one of the devices, it magically appears on all of the others in the house in the exact same place.I got the version w/ the best resolution that was available and paid the extra $20/unit for the one with the faster wifi connection ability and the ability to be connected via CAT5 cable (for the few TVs that we have near wifi extenders or the internet service gateway device). It's an Apple device, so it has few hiccups and works smoothly. The options all seem to be in places that make sense and it's relatively easy to configure them the way I want them to work... options and features well-designed and well-implemented.

Didn’t work!
It doesn’t work. I followed the instructions but it didn’t start … the remote had no power at all. Apple generally has enough power in battery products to start the device, this one didn’t. I had to order a charger cable for the remote, but after charging.. it still didn’t power up. I am very disappointed since all my computer and phones are and have been for years Apple products. Will be returning this!
