Great thickener and natural

This is a life saver! especially if your on Keto you understand the importance of this thickening agent. I must say my bag was slashed but ONLY BECAUSE I opened the box recklessly so that was my fault. Other than that is was intact and I decided to pour the rest in a storage container. This helped me make some delicious almond flour tortillas and by only using 1/2 tsp made the almond flour dough stick together with ease! I am satisfied with this purchase and I will be ordering this again. The price point was also very reasonable for a nice sized bag that will last a couple of months or so.

The product is not all that easy to use, requiring multiple blendings to get it to finally dissolve even before adding it into the liquid you're trying to thicken. It then didn't thicken as well as corn starch and required another serving, which took even more time. Yes, it's great if you're trying to go ZERO carb, but be ready to spend some time to get what you want.

I used this last night to thicken mushroom soup I was making for dinner on my keto diet. I have been cooking for over 50 years and never used this product. A lot of keto recipes called for it and I was skipping them because I had no xanthum gum. It worked really well in my soup and had no obvious taste. Easy to use and thickened my soup nicely. Will be using it again in other recipes and smoothies. Can’t say if it was a good value because I never bought it before or even priced it. It seemed reasonable.
