Finally, I can enjoy Tai Chi
I tried to take Tai Chi three separate times in the past and have given up every time after 1 to 3 classes. The beginner classes were usually so slow and boring I hated it. And those classes didn't give me any clue that it's actually a great workout. But I would look at the more advanced people and thought how nice it would be to be able to do those beautiful moves. The flow DVD does that for you. David -Dorian Ross explains all the movements, breaks them down a little at the start, but keeps you moving so you can enjoy Tai Chi right away. And it's more of a workout than you think. The first few times I did it, I couldn't make it through the entire DVD and I'm fairly fit. The strength DVD is similar, but it adds weighted balls on some, but not all moves. The general tone of the videos is very supportive. And it is a form of moving meditation. I now do one or the other programs about three times a week. So glad to have found these because I've had a couple surgeries that have made my beloved yoga not a good idea anymore. Highly recommended!

A bit long, but a great work-out
I have several of Mr. Ross' other DVDs and I wanted a bit more of a challenge, plus something more Tai Chi.Both of these fit the bill. They are a bit long, especialy if one is used to the 20-35 minute lengths of many of his other DVDs. (Which surprised me- I had to cut one short due to lack of time.) It is my fault, as I didn't look for the Tai Chi workout length, so be aware. One doesn't need the balls, either. Mr. Ross offers alternatives. Cans of soup are a great start for weights, as they are usually to be found in most households.I like both. The strength workout does give your upper body a challenge, but not overly. I enjoyed it, as he doesn't use the weights all the time.I love Mr. Ross' Tai Chi DVDs- they are my go to for workouts. He makes it fun, doesn't talk too much, and explains the moves very clearly. Great person for beginners.

Interesting
Not exactly what I thought, but it is very good and easy to do in a large or small area.

Interesting and Fun!!!!
My friends and I have been using these workout videos for about 7 weeks. All of us have noticeably increased our strength and flexibility! The instruction is easy to follow, and the mirror image video makes it so easy. My friends and I get together three days a week for Tai Chi, and David Dorian-Ross' method is by far our favorite! We range in age from 50 to 86, and all of us have benefitted from these DVDs.

DVDs that are easy to follow and with education inTai Chi too.
Tai Chi by David Dorian Ross is the best. His style & delivery of Tai Chi in the DVDs are easy to follow and his motivational techniques are the best too.My rheumatologist recommended Tai Chi and I bought several DVDs prior to finding David Dorian Ross' and could not follow the moves. David demonstrates, explains, motivates and educates at the same time which has been rewarding and an effective experience for me.

It is a duplicate
The Tai Chi for Flow is an excellent program which lasts about 55 min. Good exercise and relaxing. However, the Tai Chi for Strength is a duplicate workout with very little difference except you use to balls in a short exercise routine. It is not worth it. The same is true with his Tai Chi over 50, just a duplicate, shorter program. Buy the Flow and forget the other two.

So easy to follow
I tried several Tai Chi YouTube videos and David-Dorian Ross is by far the best. He is so easy to follow. I decided to buy these DVDs on the basis that his YouTube classes are so good. Not disappointed - he is brilliant and I am happily doing a variety of Tai Chi flows every day - and feeling so much for it.
