This kit is great quality, its little sheet metal pieces and very detailed. You don't need any glue, soldier or paint. You take the metal pieces off the sheets which are already coloured, adjust and connect them together to make the truck. Some steps in the instructions are a bit difficult to understand initially but once you get into it a bit, it starts to make more sense and the sheets have numbers next to the pieces so you can follow the instructions more easily. Expect to spend a few hours on the build, I found it fun and enjoy these types of builds. I also like the AMG G63 6x6 which this seems to be modelled off and the final product looks pretty cool.

Currently working on. and it's no 5 star more like a 7+. The Black-on-black makes seeing tabs and slots impossible unless using a 30x magnifying glass. 2 weeks in and barley 1/4 way through and I am an experienced modeler.

So, I wasn't sure how this would go. I've done a few dozen wooden 3d puzzles and have enjoyed the challenge, but wasn't sure what to expect for my first metal puzzle. I have to say it was more difficult than advertised with super tiny pieces, but I really enjoyed the challenge of assembling it.. have already bought my next one

First, this is an ADVANCED LEVEL kit. There are complex curves and many tiny pieces to bend. Only try this if you have experience with these metal kits and more than just the basic tools. The kit itself is fabulous. The level of detail outshines any that I have yet built, and the color application is great. The entire exhaust and suspension are reproduced, as well as a full interior including door handles and a speedometer. Parts fit well, although one has to take much time getting curves just right to make things fall into place. Wire looping pliers are a necessity. This is both the most challenging and most satisfying metal kit I have built. If I had to take a 1/2 star off, it would be for the instructions. They are overall well done with detailed pictures, without usual bad Engrish translations. However, sometimes the arrows for bending are not clear, and I bent one piece the wrong way. Regarding others' complaints about the instructions: one has to have a good spatial-visual sense to even start a kit of this caliber, and the instructions are not at fault. Piececool really gives the other company (rhymes with Medal Girth) a run for their money. The kits are larger and much more detailed. The metal is a little softer, which makes cutting and bending pieces and tabs easier. I bought this with my own hard-earned cash. I have never written a sponsored review.
