It’s great and easy to use. It does exactly what its supposed to do.

Lid is super flimsy and during fermination, bug got into lid and spoiled the whole jar.

I must say I was a little disappointed because I thought I was receiving everything shown in the photo (the jar, etc.), but i DO take responsibility for that as that was my mistake. With that being said, I have since gone on to purchase the other required components and the lids work like a charm. Any day now I should be trying my first batch of homemade mead. I can't wait!!

These lids do not fit my gallon jars, I didn't want to buy more jars since I have a lot, but the lids don't fit. I was hoping that the lids would have a gasket in them, but they have a foam ring that goes in the top which I feel makes them only useable a few times and not something I can use over and over...it came with like 4 of them. If they came with a gasket and fit my jars I would have loved them.

This is great. The airlock works. The jar is good. It works great for my sauerkraut. Decent price.

I seem to feel like a broken record lately and I'm a bit disappointed in the reason why. It's been a long time since I've used a fermentation airlock. There were no instructions in the box. They put a little piece of paper in the box about what to do if it came damaged but nothing about assembly or use. I find this really disappointing because to find out I had to come back to the listing to find a video to know how to put it together. What if I was getting this for someone else as part of a gift? I'm not going to say "oh here's the link for using the airlock. Why not just put a simple printed paper in the box with how to put it together, etc? Too many companies today are doing the exact same thing and it's really irritating (mentioned it to others and they've had the exact same feeling of annoyance with it). Other than that, it came boxed nicely and everything was wrapped well. Once put together it works exactly the way I would expect a fermentation airlock to work. Pricing seems fair for what I've seen other sold for. So despite the lack of instructions in the box I would still recommend this product.
