Constantine [4K Ultra HD] [2005] [Region Free]

An absolutely brilliant film from start to finish. Rachel Weisz and Keanu Reeves deliver great lead performances and of course, the great Tilda Swinton, Peter Stomare, Djimon Hounsou and Pruitt Taylor Vince all play amazing roles. If you're religious, this is a great take on some old stories, if you're not, its a great mythological story, if you're a smoker, look away, this film holds nothing back on the effects of smoking and the addiction even when facing death. Full of action, well written dialogue and no fluff, this film delivers a gripping story and a great friday night watch, so grab your popcorn for this one.

I quite like the genre of heaven against hell and this film does not disappoint. Based on the comic book character, Constantine {Keanu Reeves,}who is a demon hunter who learns of Satans son, Mammon's bid to possess Earth by usurping his father. Lots of demon-bashing and trippy visits to hell and a fabulous Lucifer played by Peter Stormare who oozes evil quite literally and the Angel Gabriel played by the androgynous Tilda Swinton smiting a lot and flapping great swan wings. Its fun and dark at the same time and I'm leaving some of the plot out or I'd be spoiling it for others. One of my Halloween film favourites and worth watching at least once......but I pretty much watch at least once a year!

Bought the UHD digital version, great quality on our TV. Had a craving for some Constantine and glad Prime had it available.
