I have been using my headphones for lap swimming for more than a year. In general I am quite pleased with it, yet I have to mentionsome issues. I am happy with sound and battery life, it lasts for several swimming sessions and I've never experienced an unexpectedly discharged headphones in the middle of swimming pool. I also appreciate the ease of operation - one button for everything. The device is lightweight and looks nice. When I wear it round my neck I almost don't feel it. I prefer to wear it round my neck, not over my head. But nothing is perfect in this world, neither is Tayogo 8GB Waterproof MP3 Player. The underwater earplugs paired with the earphones are not quite suitable for because water gets into my ears and I find them uncomfortable, so I'd prefer a smaller ones. Another issue was in the hardware malfunction, which happened several times. To the credit of the support team that issue was solved immediately. I was instructed in detail how to reinstall the hardware. When the same issue occurred again after the warranty period expired, the company offered me a new device free of charge. This is truly "a customer oriented approach".

A great set of headphones that are well worth the price! This is my third set of swimming headphones and they are the best, by far! First off, they stay in my ears with a good seal better than any other set. That is a key factor in swimming headphones. I can swim for over a half hour without having to readjust the ear buds. The sound quality and volume is very good and the battery life seems good as well. The Bluetooth works well out of the water, but not in the water. That is not a fault of the headset, that is just a fact of Bluetooth. The FM radio was fair, but that wasn’t what I normally use anyways. The headphones are easy to load for the MP3 player. While you are recharging it in your computer, just drag and drop files into the folder that appears as a drive. Simple. Hint: Although the headphones are designed to be worn on the head above the ears, I prefer to wear them around my neck. They work fine in either position. The company offers and honors a two year warranty. That is pretty good! I think they are a really good value for money.

I just got this on Monday and today was my first day to use it in the pool I swam about 50 freestyle laps in a 25m pool and the clarity of the music was great, which I was surprised. Luckily the waterproof earbuds fit good because they only give you 1 set but they give you 3 sets of normal earbuds. Since I bought for swimming I would have liked for that to be switched. The controls are plain and easy to use, although they would be better if they were raised up from the rest instead of flat against the moulding for easier feel of differentiating the buttons. The wires that lead from headset to earbuds like other reviews, are the weak point definitely. If this thing breaks or fails I can see that being the place. The music easy to load on the MP3 player itself and easy to charge. I have only used it once ( today) so I don't know how long the battery charge will last yet. I can update later. All in all, for the price, these are really great swimbuds and really are a game changer for me in the pool for exercising. I love swimming laps and this just makes the time go by so fast.

Inferior product!. I should have known when I read the warranty . It said" 1 year warranty but does not include the copper wiring for the ear piece. Please use caution ." Really???? The first time I used it, I was so careful, but then the sound went out in the right ear piece. I sent it back to Amazon for a refund. Also, it was very difficult to operate the control buttons.

I only purchased these about a month ago and have only used them about five times. I loved them and they worked great under water while swimming competitively but then only one earbud worked after three swims. So the last two swims I have only had one working bud. Then today i went to charge the pod and the charging piece snapped. I feel like I have wasted my money and am bummed because these actually did work until one ear stopped working.

I am updating my review after two pairs of players and 3 sets of the headphone parts in 2 years. Honestly, I wish I had bought another brand. When I purchased my first player, it was about $30, which is OK if you have to replace every year. Now, it is $50. To me, it is too flimsy for the price. The headphones lose volume in one ear frequently. I twist and turn them to try to get the sound back. Eventually one of the wires frayed and that headset was broken. So I bought a replacement set of the headphone part, which is working for now, but yesterday it too started with the one ear problem. The actual players are finicky. My first one stopped charging, so I was able to get it replaced by warranty. But the second one is not connecting to my computer anymore. All in all, it has been a lot of trouble. When they work, they work great. When they start breaking down it is a headache.

I am really enjoying this product. I swim laps for health exercise, up to an hour and a half three times a week. It can get boring and it takes real determination to keep at it. This little waterproof MP3 player greatly helps relieve the boredom. It is easy to use, load music, and charge. The earplugs fit well and keep water out and the sound quality is very good. It fits well on my head and stays in place & is just a pleasure to swim with. So far I have only needed to charge it once a week. It is helping me stay motivated.

These are awesome for biking, running, going to the gym, etc. My replacement lasted for a long time. Then the firmware in the mp3 player itself went bad. After trying to use the fix they had, to no avail, customer service sent me another one! Which was very nice of them. I haven't tried these ones out in the water yet, but they have a new earbud that looks like it will keep out the water. My original rating was a 1 star, I have moved it to a 4 because my other second mp3 player lasted so long, and the company sent me another replacement when that stopped working.

Having never listened to music 'underwater' before, I was amazed at the quality! I was therefore sceptical about how these would live up to challenge of providing my sessions in the pool with musical motivation - but I have to say, that Tayogo have nailed it so you could stop reading the review here and click buy. My test bed for use began about 1 month ago so will keep it Concise as nothing bad to say about these: Battery/charging - quick and simple to dock into charger, charger provided male to female USB, and easy to load up songs to simply drag mp3 file into the folder on Windows and you are ready. Fit - adjustment with the band on back of your head allows fit to all shapes of head. Mine is quite small and thin into the neck but you get some play with the legs. Durabity: During sessions lasting once the other week for 01:45 in the pool not a problem with headphone falling out, unit moving or falling, battery, or anything. Battery sustained the challenge it was. Easy of use In Session: simple to use on and off with the play button holding in for a few seconds, and you can skip tracks easily in session. The buttons are quite robust covered in a thick rubber so you know they will last for a long time. Quality: having used them for about 20 sessions now the quality they bring to my swim sessions are spot on, and it's really motivating to listen to music in the water especially in a 20m pool. There is no damage so far to the seal or the headphone lines. They also give you a selection of ear buds to interchange for dry land activities also - I personally have just kept the pool ones in for using for running, the turbo trainer and walks as the 3D sound is of really good quality. Changes/modifications: currently I wouldnt change anything with these and I trust they would work just as well in the open water for triathletes or people swimming week in week out and not just as cross training like for me. As with anything you just have to be sensible about storage after sessions so you don't damage the ear phone lines as they are thin wire where I use the foam insert that they come packaged in - perhaps Tayogo will make a storage product in the future. Overall: love the product. The best thing is the sound quality underwater. The good Vibes I get to the sessions now are simply brilliant, it's motivational. And with these head phones you can rely on them to be up to task and some.

Works really well. The band is a little snug so I have to tuck it under my hair for it to fit. The buttons are a bit small so can be a bit tricky to use, but in general the product works well. Went for a swim and they kept the water out of my ears nicely, drowned out the racket from the pool, and stayed on during laps. These are good and I recommend to friends looking for this type of product, affordable as well which helps!

I recently purchased this headset as I've started swimming and wanted to listen to audiobooks to pass the time. I had previously had a waterproof armband for my iPod, plus waterproof wired headphones but did find these cumbersome so was delighted when I found this product. The sound quality is very good and the headset is very comfortable to wear and the controls are easy to use. The product listing says that multiple file types can be played, including audible, and as I listen to audiobooks this is exactly what I needed. However, I can not get any file type other than .mp3 to play on this product, so have had to buy additional software to convert my audiobooks to .mp3 format, plus once the USB part is removed to charge, you will lose the place you were at so have also split my files into manageable chunks. In spite of this additional effort, I would really recommend this product - and if all you want to do is listen to music tracks in any order, then this is the perfect product for swimming.

I was initially really sceptical of buying these headphones as some reviews were quite negative and others positive. However I would get bored when doing laps so decided I needed to get something so I ordered these anyway. When I first got them it was quite fiddly to get the earphones to stay in while actually doing laps. It ended up just being me though as they need to go into your ear a certain way, once you figure that out they never fall out. Uploading music was very simple just a case of plugging it into your computer and dragging and dropping the files you want (make sure the headphones are dry first!). Its so easy and I regularly changed the tunes. The actual headphone band itself is not uncomfortable it sits around the back of the head and you hardly notice it. I would suggest though putting the music on before you put it on as it's hard to do when you cant see the controls. I've been using these for 5 months now and they are great. Recently though I lost one of the swimming earbuds. I emailed the company expecting to have to pay for a replacement but was pleasantly surprised when they sent me replacements free of charge. So all in all I would say these are definitely worth buying, the sound quality is very good both above and below the water. They are comfortable to wear, and the company have amazing customer service replying very quickly when I needed a replacement. I take them swimming with me constantly. Battery life is around 1.5-2 hours I usually charge mine after two 45 minute swims. Ignore the negative reviews these are a great product!

I am very impressed with the product and customer service. My set didn’t come with extra earbuds but the response to my enquiry by email was both fast and considerate. My earbuds were in the mail within a day. Charging the unit was fast and I like that I could do it without the cable with the usb. Uploading music from my Apple library was so easy. As for the device, I surprised at how comfortable the head piece was. I tested it out on an hour long walk. With other behind the head and over the ear devices I often get a headache after wearing it a few minutes. I didn’t even notice this one. The earbuds fit perfectly, they did not fall out and more importantly did not hurt my ears. I wasn’t sure about having controls at the back of my head but with just 5 buttons it was easy to change the volume, fast forward, reverse and turn it off. The random button works fine. I found the quality if sound incredible for the price. I’m really looking forward to trying it out while swimming. Having music distract me will certainly cut the boredom from a workout.
