DYND12578H - Medline Leg Bags with Twist Valve

Husband found this to be exactly what the hospital gave him. Very sturdy and works well. After about 5 weeks the elastic straps began to stretch out. All in all a great product.

I have used these bags for five weeks with a NEW bag each week. ALL leaked a small amount. I finally discovered what the problem was. The BOTTOM screw valve has a ROUGH spot or BURR on the threads. This occurred on ALL bags. When you TIGHTEN the valve, the ROUGH spot or BURR makes you think you have completely closed the valve. WRONG!! Tighten a little bit more until there is NO MOVEMENT on the screw, and you will have NO LEAKING out the bottom. Otherwise, works well. GOOD LUCK and keep the bottom valve TIGHTLY closed!!

It’s been a while since I used them. But never a problem were they. Even wore them to the gym!

Easy to change out and my husband likes the twist valve better than the flip valve. The twist valve works better in preventing leakage (verses the flip valve) under pants and while sleeping.
