What is the width of the entry point? i.e. the opening through which the hose has to pass to get into the main holder.

If you mean the jaw width, it's 2.2cm.

How do you adjust it? It is unbelievably stiff, scared of snapping it. Impossible to move to different angle!

I found it stiff on first use but it is very sturdy so as long as it is fixed properly to the wall you can adjust the shower head angle with a firm grip and it will be fine. It is easier to adjust it with a shower head inserted and it does loosen as you use it. I've had this over a year and had no problem with it snapping!

How adjustable is it? The last one I had only angled at 45 degrees which left the spray to horizontal still.

It clicks through a range of angles. Very happy with it.

What circumference shower hose does this fit/hold?

It holds standard shower heads mine is not standard but still a snug fit
