This glue gun was to replace the little mini ones I have been using for all my crafting projects. I love how hot it gets and it gives me time to place my craft pieces in the correct places before the glue cools. The glue stand can be removed, but I like to have it on so it can rest on the counter table . Bonus are the extra glue sticks that comes with it. Works great for me.

I used this today for a Christmas crafting session that started at midday and finished after 6pm. I have 2ah batteries and used a full charge on one and partial on the other. I’m impressed at how long the batteries lasted, as it was switched on almost constantly. It is so easy to use, fast to heat up and so light to handle. The glue flows beautifully and although it does drip a little, (nowhere near as much as my other gun), the fact that it stands up, makes it easy to avoid any issues. I am very pleased with my purchase and my sisters were so impressed that they are both buying one too!

Nice little, lightweight glue gun. I decided to go with this one because it is cordless and so easier to work with compared to wired ones, which are always a struggle to keep in place because the wire can drag the gun around due to light weight. This gun fits the DEWALT DCB182-XJ 18V battery is really good and feels quite nice with the 4Ah battery. The gun weights 378g with one glue stick inserted, whereas the dewalt 4Ah battery weights 616g. This means when using it, the battery is much heavier than the gun and no risk of it falling over, which is the last thing you want when the nozzle is hot. The gun heats up very quickly. There is also a nice and bright red light that turns on when you power on the gun, so very easy to tell if you've left it on or not. Also, when you press the trigger to dispence the glue, the dispencing stops immediately upon release of the trigger, which is nice because you dont have glue continuously ouzing out. Overall, very happy with the gun. Quick note, you can also get two years warranty by registering it with the manufacturer.

Great glue gun! I previously used a mini glue gun, but this one is much faster and noticeably more powerful. Unlike many hot glue guns, it also includes a convenient on/off switch, which is a big plus. This tool is a must-have if you need to repair a cut in an RV’s corrugated plastic underbelly. Nothing else—not even specialized underbelly tape—would stick to the plastic, but this hot glue gun held perfectly and got the job done.

Brilliant glue gun. Has been used regularly since purchase. Good quality and doesn't drain the battery quickly. Easy to use but nozzle retains its heat for a long while after being switched off. We turn it off just before we finish and continue to use as it cools to reduce battery consumption.
