These floor protectors are the right size and strength to protect my kitchen floor. Sturdy and well made.

We installed these on a set of wooden chairs only to watch the felt pads rip off. So they largely defeat the purpose of installing them because the pad wears out so quickly. The larger problem is that because they are just nailed into the foot of the chair, they come out. That leaves a very sharp nail pointing up laying on the floor of your house. A huge liability. If you must buy these make sure to use a serious adhesive on the bottom of the chair to make sure they stick well as well as nailing them in.
