I see people pointing out the smell of this Batana oil, truth is the small is not that bad and is indeed tolerable. It smells like a coffee farm and is indeed a great oil paste. I saw noticeable hair growth over a few months and hair is smooth and shine. Can’t say if it actually strengthens the hair.

I waited 45 days before reviewing because I disregard reviews from people who just opened the product and haven't even used it. That said, this stuff is amazing. I don't try new products often because of allergies. I'd been using the same hair routine for 10 years! This oil is so good, I retired another product I'd been using. My natural 4a hair has never been so shiny and happy! I use the oil/paste on my scalp once a week and I use it for shine throughout my hair after shampooing. But the real joy is when I make a hair butter from batana, castor oil and raw shea butter. My twist outs are soft, shiny and last for THREE DAYS before I need to twist again. I don't even wrap my hair at night and it still looks great! I have seen a little bit of growth, but I'm not sure that's from the batana. I'm taking hair vitamins and HRT (which I've been taking for months, but they didn't make my hair look this good!). I'm definitely a fan.

Smell like chocolate peanut butter cups. More chocolate than peanut butter. My toddler loved the smell as peanut butter cups are her 2nd favorite chocolate treat... moisturized her scalp. Just used once after taking her locs down due to edge hair loss. I hope it work. Has excellent reviews.
