Neff Women's Cupcake Beanie Hat

I'm not big on hats, so $20 seemed a bit much to me, but I caved for the cuteness of the cupcake beanie. No issues with the quality/durability of the product thus far, but I'm not convinced the "one size" fits all. Honestly, I would say my head is averagely sized, perhaps more round than long... I feel that if I wear the beanie too loosely, the cupcake looks oddly pointed. However, if I pull the hat farther down so that my head fills in the cupcake, the brown "trim" on the beanie is snug enough to leave lines on my forehead after some time. Obviously, I can either wear the hat more loosely or live with the forehead lines, but I think I would prefer to see more sizes available for this beanie design.Oh, and does the white Neff tag really have to go on the side of the brown trim, right in plain view? No thanks! The only cupcake beanies I see online are those made on Neff, so I think they can reconsider the placement of the brand's tag.

I bought the 'red velvet' variation for my 8 year old daughter's birthday. After reading a few reviewers mention that it runs small, I figured it was worth the gamble. I'm glad I did. At ten dollars, it is worth every penny. Despite being 100% acrylic, the yarn is super soft and doesn't seem to pill easily. It's adorable on and plenty warm on the coldest of Southern winter days. Because she's little, it even covers her ears a bit. It fits fine now, but I anticipate it would still fit into teenage years -- assuming she still wants to wear it.After reading reviews that stated the little balls at the base of the 'frosting' fall off over time, I secured them before even giving it to her. Which took less than a half hour, and seems worth it to maintain the integrity of the hat.The hat is, of course, made in China, but one washing seemed to remove the 'new' smell -- something that I find myself especially sensitive to, so that's a bonus in my mind.

This was a gift and liked. The beanie runs small. It great for a small woman or teen who loves to bake! My daughter gets compliments on her beanie!

I really love this beanie. I have it in the pink/brown color and recently ordered the lavender/blue color. The style is adorable. It fits well, and is comfortable. The yarn is soft colorful. I have seen other reviewers say that the little balls fall off quite easily. This surprises me as on the one I have the balls seem quite secure. I have even washed it in my washing machine (I used woolite detergent and put it on the delicate cycle) and didn't loose a single one. Maybe it is just a luck of the draw kind of thing or maybe it depends on which color you get (maybe one color/style was not manufactured as well as the others). Overall I really like it and I am glad I bought it. It is the perfect combination of form and function!!

I bought this hat three months ago, and so far I'm very impressed. The pompom situation, with them falling off? It hasn't happened to me, or shown any signs of needing reparation. However, I have kept the hat put in a safe keeping place, and taken precautions when it was on my head. It fits very nicely, unless you try to stuff all your long locks inside it, and is very comfortable. I've gotten lots of compliments from it, and a few insults that quickly turned into compliments when I made cutting retorts. It also came in the mail quickly (not record timing, by any means, but it did come quickly enough). So all in all? Worth the money. If your hat is falling apart on you, someone put yours together poorly. But most likely you're just not taking care of it, 'cause I'm only fifteen and mine is everything I wanted it to be and everything I forgot to want of it.

I got this in the mail a couple of days ago and I thought it would be bigger than it is, maybe my head is really big but it doesn't fit like a beanie, it fits like an awkward hat and it doesnt look like you think it would when you put it on. It's really cute though and I get compliments on it but I dont like the way it fits at all. I had one ball fall off hopefully more dont fall off when I wash it, but I'm kind of scared to :S But maybe if my head was smaller it would be cuter, this is almost more like a childrens hat, but again it is really cute and I wouldn't tell anyone not to buy it, it's pretty good quality as well and it's exactly like shown in the picture. Maybe look up this hat on google and see how other people look in it before you decide to buy it :)

It's so cute! Ordered a one size fits most. I have a big melon (23in) and thick hair and it fits me! Just barely covers my ears, but that's not a big deal to me. Can't wait to wear this for The Great Chocolate Race 5K! Might have to order another color it's so cute

I first saw this hat in an overpriced gift shop in Atlantic City. I decided to look the product up online because I knew it would be cheaper. To my surprise, I was able to find it on Amazon for less than half the price! There were several color options online that didn't exist in the store so I was able to pick out the perfect one for me. This hat is adorable, warm, and fun. I get compliments on it literally everyday that I wear it. If you purchase this hat, be prepared to deal with the endless stream of smiles in your direction!

Neff Cupcake beanie.I bought this item as a present for a friend, when i opened the package i was delighted with the quality of the product. The hat looks great weather on your head or not, they fit great and definitely keep your head warm. This is a brilliant product and great quality for the price.

Got it for my very trendy art student daughter, she is delighted, what a statement and conversation piece! Always makes us smile. Much cheaper than other stockists for same product. Only criticism, wish it was wool not acrylic,but guess it adds to the kitsch.
