Also if the Temperature is between 32 Degrees and 4 Degrees the Scraper can operate for about 30 minutes of Ice Scraping. The Ice Scraper saves about 50% of the time it takes to manually scrape the Ice off your Car windshields. There is a CoverCap that clips on the bottom to protect the 6 scraper blades. The Scraper is made in a shape that resembles a Snail, it is a great fit for the palm of your hand and easy to operate. The motor vibrates and rotates as it breaks the ice up and removes it. It is advised to not hit the edges of your windshield and to not use the Ice Scraper on a Windshield that has damage to it. I suspect that a damaged windshield might fall into your vehicle under Cold weather if your ran this Scraper over the damaged area. I live in the Mid-West and Snow and Icy weather is nearly pronmised to us, early and often. I am anxious to put this RERPET Electric Ice Scraper to work, I will enjoy the 50% extra time it saves me in the morning clearing the windshields for my Wife's Car and my Truck. It will get me out of the cold weather much quicker. I will buy another RERPET Electric Ice Scraper for my Son and his Wife and Gift it to them, they live on the other side of town from me and they could make use of one as well.

When the RERPET Electric Ice Scraper came across my data feed, I knew I had to have it. I live in Southern California, so there isn't much need for an ice scraper, but I was raised in Colorado and this product was the fantasy of every little boy who had to get up early and get the car ready so that Dad could get to work. Of course, just because I don't need it doesn't mean I can't get it and see how it operates... My impressions:- This is a nice, solid product. It's hefty so it doesn't require much pressure on the windshield. If you are shorter, it is missing an extension arm so you may find yourself climbing on the hood to reach the middle of the windshield.- The protective cap is on *tight*. It takes real effort to remove it, to the point I was certain I would break it. Fortunately I didn't, so I can still gift it after I've played with it a bit... whew! I later found a video that describes how to easily remove the cover; simply press on the sides and rotate off.- The instructions say to avoid the weather strips around the rim of the windows, which makes perfect sense. Being me, you will be surprised to know that I did not challenge this and actually played by the rules, so I didn't ruin anything on the car (or the product).- I didn't really have any ice on the car to work with, but I did play with turning it on and running it on the windows. It's easy to move (would even be easier on ice) and has a gentle vibration while it runs.- I didn't test how long the battery lasts, but it certainly lasted long enough so that I got bored before it quit. It's a rechargeable battery, so you don't have to worry about changing them. Nice.Since I don't have a real need for it, I decided to get it for my son who lives in Alabama, who might actually be able to use it. Even as someone who doesn't need the product, I'm impressed with it and I expect my son will be, too. Recommended.

I got this almost a month ago and finally had frost on the car to try it out. So far I have to say that while it does work, I'm just not particularly impressed with it. We had a fairly light frost, and while this did manage to clear the frost, we hit a couple spots where it seemed to have trouble clearing it away. On top of that, with how narrow of an area it clears, it took a decent bit of time to clear the windows. To be honest I could have scraped the windows faster using a hand scraper. Maybe this will prove to work better and be more impressive on a thicker buildup of frost, but so far I'm just fond of this product.
