Yes, its plastic, however it feels solid and backed by Delta, so I have no worries. Looks great.

Simple mechanism that works. It’s strong plastic and when we needed a new pump on the previous model (lasted 15 years) Delta sent one for free. So I guess that makes up for the fact that these are priced beyond all logic. But they have you over the barrel if you have to match the new fixture or leave an empty hole in the sink.

The soap dispenser works great and matches our delta champagne bronze faucet. The only thing I do not love is that the dispenser part is plastic but the screw part that is on the counter is metal. I wish the dispenser was also metal. It being plastic it shows water stains more and the stains appear to be harder to get off.
