I ordered this carving knife set for Christmas dinner meat slicing. however although--in my opinion--the action of this knife is both easy to use and carves the meat perfectly especially if you might have arthritis in your hands. I had to return this particular item, as it failed to work after doing a small amount of most excellent meat carvings. I have returned this HAUSHOF cordless carving knife for that reason--I even kept it on charge for the full recommended time--but it would not budge even though all 3 charging lights were on. To be fair though I have ordered, and paid for, another replacement one as I was impressed with this one before it failed. No doubt I will have to comment on the new one! PS. it does come in an excellent storage case!

Now thats a knife! I read the reviews intently and pulled the trigger, opened the case and charged the device for about 20 minutes then attached the blades or at least tried too, then I paused read the instructions and put them in the correct way. My first carving experience with this cordless knife (was worried about the electric ones with the cable and 240 volts running through it and the awkward way in which you hold it) however this knife was brilliant, had a home made loaf that previously used a normal bread knife with mixed success but this knife was absolutely brilliant, no crushing of the bread nice and smooth and yes like a hot knife through butter it was great, beef joint next, no problems, gammon joint nice and easy, I have used about 20 times now without recharging, nice and easy to clean the blades (dishwasher safe) it really makes a difference and is very quick, I would give it a 10 out of 10. The case is a nice touch and comes with 2 sets of blades and a carving fork aswell I paid about £40, but in all honesty it was well worth it! There is a learning curve with this you will either cut doorsteps or wafer thin on your first couple of attempts but it is an amazing knife and is surprisingly quiet. (not a paid review)

Looking forward to using this on Xmas day Amazing quality for the price, packaged in a nice box for storage and rechargeable so no lead making it difficult to store pr put away. I used this on Christmas day and was not disappointed, I carved two chickens and two joints of gammon and it worked amazingly well for both. The charge lasted ages and did not even indicate it had been used. I would definately buy again and I am also thinking it could be a good present for others.

Used less than a handful of times to.cut fresh bread and soft meat. The power button has collapsed and it no longer turns on even fully charged. Was a good knife until it wasnt. Cannot get in touch with seller to complain about this. Very disappointing

Excellent Knife, very pleased with this purchase. The fact that it’s cordless is so useful around the kitchen. Holds its charge for quite a few uses. Would recommend this in place of any corded version.

Excellent knife, cuts very easily and being cordless enables you to manoeuvre with ease; works just as well as a corded knife.

Extremely difficult to release carving knife from unit after use.

Only used it once and agree it is a nice piece of equipment. Only minor point is that blades can be slightly difficult to remove if you have weakness in your fingers. May get easier with more use Otherwise very pleased with it and the quality. Storage box a nice touch
