Good machine let down a little by a clunky gearbox

I've only used it once so far and it was fine, easy to clean with very little wasted mixture, the construction seems to be sturdy and high quality. The instructions could be better. It says to attach the handle with the nut... I searched the packaging for the nut and did not find one, only an allan key. Then I saw there was a hole about the same size as the key,you just put the key in and tighten, there isn't a "nut" that you need to find and put on.The biggest issue for me, and I'm suprised it hasn't come up on any other reviews it's that although it says the steel base has holes so it can easily attach to any table... Nothing is provided to attach it to the table. My previous stuffer used clamps and the one before used a suction cup but they were provided. Nothing comes with it and no indication of what I should buy to secure it myself. Not that I want to permanently screw it to the table but if I did I don't think that's the answer because the holes are very large.Even filled to capacity, the weight is not enough to keep it secure on the bench while you crank

The package with the machine in had a bit of a rough journey with Amazon delivery and a grub screw for the handle was missing and the ram gasket was broken. The company immediately replaced these items as a complete new machine!! Impressed. I have now used it for it's intended purpose and it performed perfectly. Looking forward to my heavy garlic, gluten free sausages. Happy!!

If your going to make your own sausage buy this machine. I had a cheap one was difficult to use and not consistent when stuffing.The gearbox on this is fantastic.
