Lawn Boy 215326 Walk Behind Lawn Mower Cover

Good thick material. Durable waterproof canvas or something. Doesn’t crack from exposure to weather and sun. Had a previous one that we could have kept using—has a tiny hole in it from it melting a little when husband put it back on a hot mower. Only got a new one when we got a new mower. We REALLY like the his cover and will stick with these.

This cover seems durable and water repellent. The material is like a heavy duty coated canvas, not the thin vinyl coated products that I often see. The cover is vented to help with heat build up and has an adjustable clip in the back- nice features.I would have been very happy with this mower cover but unfortunately it did not fit my 2012 Honda HRX 217HYA, a 21" mower. Apparently this line of Honda mowers has a longer handle bar than most, although you wouldn't know it unless you took a tape measure to it. This meant the cover was too short to stay over the front or rear wheels and made it useless. I'm writing this review to give owners of these mowers, and similarly large one's the heads up. Other generations of Honda mowers seem to fit without issue.Fortunately, Amazon has an excellent return policy and I'm sending it back and purchasing the slightly more expensive Honda brand cover. I hope the quality will be just as high as this Lawn Boy one.~Chris

This is a great cover if you must keep your lawn mower outside. The fabric is high quality and does not let water get through.I use this with a Husqvarna 7021P push mower and it fits. It is a little tight in some places, but I also wasn't expecting a perfect fit since this cover was not made specifically for this mower. However, I'd have to say this cover should fit 95% of all push mowers...it just may be a little tight or large on some. However given the high quality and since most mowers do not have a custom fitting cover, this cover should work well for you.As for size, it's hard to measure it. However it will wrap under the front wheels and then over and down the handle to the back wheels. I wouldn't expect any other cover to protect or "cover" the mower any better.

I went to all of our local big box Home Improvement & Farm Supply stores to try and find a good mower cover. Found this one on Amazon. Bought two for my mowers(Lawn Boy & Toro). Material is heavy duty. It fits the mowers perfectly and the cinch clasp makes it easy to put on & take off. Only complaint is that the cover is not UV proof. One of my mowers is stored under a deck through the summer and the cover did not fade. The other mower is stored that it receives sun for about half the day. That cover faded in noticeble areas to an unattrative gray color. If they made it in silver or gray to begin with, the UV color change would not be as obvious. Have not had the cover long enough to see how much the UV breaks down the material. I would buy this cover again as it is a good value.

I own a house without a garage or a shed in the back yard, as a result, I have to store my large power tools on the small back patio. For the past seven years I have stored my 22" deck mulching mower with side discharge on the patio under a variety of tarps and lawn mower covers. My last cover, while heavy duty, wasn't as well made as the Lawn Boy cover nor did it fully cover the whole mower. The Lawn Boy cover is made of extremely heavy material that covers my whole mower without the need to fold up the side discharge guard. In addition, the cover is closed at the rear of the mower with a clip mechanism that protects the mower. Finally, there are two tunnel-like vents on the top of the cover that provide ventilation. I highly recommend this cover.

This is the second one I have purchased and overall I am pleased with it. The first one I bought and loved lasted for years and in fact I have placed it on top of the new one to protect it from sun damage. The only downside is Lawn Boy modified the previous design of the handlebar section by making it longer so now it is very difficult to put it on my lawnmower (Black & Decker CM 1936) vs. my older one which was so accommodating. It is easier to put on if you cover the handlebar first but not all the way down and firmly pull the bottom portion over the motor. The fabric seems to be of the same high quality and I anticipate several years of service.

Last one I had lasted three years with OUTDOOR storage of my mower - this replacement is the second one I've bought and three more years of coverage !

Purchased this to protect a Craftsman Model 917 22" Lawnmower during the spring and fall as it rains quite a bit where I live. It is not a 'perfect' fit, but after putting it on a couple of times, the elastic had stretched enough to cover 99% of the mower. Small portions of the high rear wheels are exposed, but the mower deck, mulcher attachment, front wheels are all covered. The cover is very secure and high winds do not tear it apart or tear it off; mower has remained protected. After one season, the cover shows almost no signs of wear. Very heavy material and completely water proof. Would purchase again, although it may outlast my lawn mower.
