It did what I needed them to do
I live in KS and winter is wanting to throw out a little bit of snow before spring. I have all-season tires and they are not made for snow, as most people might think. My tread is pretty low and I'm just trying to get to spring before I replace all my tires. Anyways, snow was on the way and I needed something to buy me time and give me traction. These snow socks did just that! Compared to others I've seen on Amazon, these were the cheapest and arrived the fastest. I cannot compare the quality to the others but they fit and they got my car traction and safely home. One of the socks did get a small tear but I should be able to get one more use out of them, for the next round of snow and hopefully I won't need them anymore. They are not meant for highways. I didn't go over 30mph. They did make a lot of noise in the wheel wells but there was NO damage caused. Just noisy on the drive but I'll take noise and fabric banging around in the place of my safety. I'll probably buy the more expensive ones for next winter but these did the job and KS only gets a couple snow falls a season. So these were perfect for what I needed and inexpensive. I would highly recommend snow socks if you don't have snow tires and worried about traction.

The EASIEST tire chains ever.
I'm sure cable chains have their place but these auto socks are a game changer. It only took a few minutes to get them rolled onto the front tires. Tested them on an icy driveway just to see how they went and there was no sliding but I would definitely drive very slowly (as with chains) if I needed them for travel. This size L fit a 2023 Subaru Forester.

Affordable and easy-to-use
I ordered these tire snow socks for my tires, which are not designed for snow. I needed them since we are traveling at Christmas to a place where it snows, so I think these socks are great. They are easy to install, and the material is lighter and looks to have good traction. I can't tell how long they will last, but certainly, I will use them for a few days, which is enough. Once I do that, I will update this post. I think so far they are good in quality and design.

Decent snow socks for winters and emergencies
Instead of installing snow tires, snow socks can be an easier, safe way when there's not too much snow. This is a decent pack, and really quite cheap. While the thickness and quality isn't the best, considering it's half the price of many, this is nice to have in the car for emergencies and winter. It comes in a neat storage bag for easy carrying, both fit in pretty easily. They also included free gloves. The original instructions says to cover the tire, then move your car forward a bit and install the other side. But I've found it's much easier to lift the car with a jack, as you only need to have two tires elevated. That lets you slip chains or socks on much more smoothly and evenly. Using that method, these were easy to slip on, and seem like they will work well. There's no snow to test them yet, but they do add traction and from experience with other snow socks, these should work well in snow up to two inches or so, just go a bit slower. The cloth is a bit weak, durability may be a concern. I don't know how long these will last. But on a test drive of several miles, these held up, so at least for short winter drives, these will work. And the pack is so easy to store in the trunk. Considering how dangerous winter roads are, this is a good thing to have on hand just in case.
