The phone is very helpful for me. It is small, very compact, and easy to use, and is very affordable. Because it is small, I can carry it anywhere without hassle, and is very compact. If you are into calling or texting, you can readily use it. It can store up 500 text messages. The Samsung original battery is also very high quality. I can use the phone 1 – 2 weeks without charging when used normally, compare to smartphones that needs charging on a daily basis. Also, you don’t need to worry when it needs charging already since it also has notification when it is already low in battery, mine buzzes when it is battery low. Plus, it charges fast. 2 – 3 hours will do. I have experienced that the phone accidentally dropped to the floor or hard areas, not just once, but many times already, which I think is 2 meters high, for which the battery literally separated away from the phone. But the phone is still working good, even the screen didn’t broke down. It is a good spare phone you needed for texting and calling. You don’t need to worry about phone snatchers when you are outside your home or on the road and you are calling or texting somebody, since it is very small, and of course, not attention seeker. The snatchers would rather snatch your smartphones, rather than this phone. Their effort are not “sulit” if they would snatch this phone. '

I ordered this to use as a work phone as every time I break down I have quite a job to find numbers in my touch phone. It's very small, slim & light,fits nicely in my hand & neatly in any pocket. The buttons are clear, those with large fingers may find them too small. Mine arrived set in German & I had quite a job to find the language setting. To save others time you press the top left hand menu button, if you keep getting a message come up, it's telling you the key pad is locked, press the bottom left hand button & hold until it unlocks. You then get picture options, the wheel, bottom right is the settings button. In the menu scroll down to number four, press OK then number one is your language option. My only complaint is that Amazon do not state before you buy that it is coming all the way from Germany, they gave it 23 days to arrive, it came in 16 but its a long time to wait when you may be in a hurry & could look else where. They did include a three pin adapter for the charger & instructions came both in German & English.

Bon téléphone, acheté pour une personne... d'un certain âge :-) en raison de la simplicité d'utilisation. Pas de difficultés (sauf changer la langue au début, pour cela cherchez une vidéo explicative en tapant par exemple : " CHANGE THE LANGUAGE E1200" sur hébergeur de vidéos genre youtube) La durée de la batterie est bonne. Le chargeur est fourni. Parfait ! Enjoy !

Buono per chi non sa usare il telefono

Hallo liebe Amazonler! Heute rezensiere ich das Samsung E1200 Handy welches ich mir hauptsächlich wegen der Akkulaufzeit gekauft habe. Da wir in einer Zeit leben in der selbst 8 Jährige das neuste iPhone haben und mir die Akkus der neusten Smartphones auf die Nerven gehen habe ich mir dieses Zweithandy zugelegt (hauptsächlich aber auch für Reisen). In minimalistischer Verpackung zügig geliefert ist das Gerät in 2 Minuten Betriebsbereit, Sim Karte rein und los gehts. Mit seinen 1,3 x 4,5 x 10,8 cm (Tiefe x Breite x Länge) liegt es gut in der Hand, ist nicht zu schwer (nur etwa 65g) und bietet alles was man braucht wenn man sich für so ein Gerät entscheidet, nämlich ein TELEFON! Die Einrichtung des Gerätes geht auch Ruckzuck, Datum und Uhrzeit - fertig! Der Rest ist in den Menüs einstellbar,z.B. das Hintergrundbild vom Display (verschiedene Themes stehen zur Auswahl) und eben Sachen wie PIN Abfrage deaktivieren, Tastentöne aus/an, es gibt ausreichen Einstellungsmöglichkeiten. Das Display des Handys ist natürlich nicht sehr groß und die Tasten "gummiert" überzogen, aber die Bedienung geht dennoch nach anfänglicher Eingewöhnungsphase (da man bei Smartphones ja keine Tasten mehr hat) ohne Probleme, T9 lässt übrigens auch grüßen ;-)! Die Sprachqualität ist auch sehr gut, denn die Handys von "damals" hatten ja sonst "nix" wie man so schön sagt, da wurde noch alles daran gesetzt eine möglich gute Sprachqualität zu garantieren, auch dauert das Wählen bis ein Freizeichen kommt hier nicht so ewig wie mit den neuen Smartphones, man hat schnellen Zugriff - das Handy eignet sich durch seine schnelle "Wahlwiederholung" (2x den grünen Hörer drücken) auch um bei Hotlines für Karten etc. anzurufen. Stabil ist der Bursche auch, während die heutigen Smartphones nach den kleinsten Stürzen schon Glasbruch erleiden oder nicht mehr funktionieren steckt dieser Kollege hier einiges weg, also man braucht auch nicht zu zierlich mit dem Gerät umzugehen! Was jetzt der absolute Kracher ist, ist die angesprochene Akkulaufzeit - diese ist einfach nur mit einem Wort zu beschreiben: Bombe! Denn man lädt das Dingen ein Mal in der Woche auf und am Ende der Woche kann man mal gucken ob man noch mal aufladen müsste, das ist doch einfach ein Traum. Mich wundert es nur dass die meisten Leute die geringe Akkulaufzeit der neuen Smartphones so akzeptieren, täglich laden etc. Das einzig doofe ist das alte Oldschool Feeling kehrt zurück in den man SMS löschen muss, um neue empfangen zu können. Bei 100 SMS ist der Speicher voll, ich finds cool :) Also mein Fazit fällt auf jeden Fall positiv aus, da man hier für vergleichsweise wenig Geld ein tolles Zweithandy erhält um eben vernünftig und in guter Qualität telefonieren zu können!
