Already added a full MPH to my commute
I ride roughly 100 miles a week; split between commuting and long/workout rides on mostly tore up country roads. I had a wired bike computer years ago that finally bit the dust and was never replaced because I wasn't a huge fan of it. I looked into wireless computers, but realized that was silly because I always bring my phone with me. Once I realized a cell phone mount was for me; I set out to find one that would be durable but also have a reasonable price point. Eventually I came across the Bone Bike Tie X and figured I'd give it a shot.I've got a Huawei P20 (can you tell I'm a frugal shopper?) which is a medium to large sized phone plus a case mounted to the Bike Tie and it fits very snugly. It takes about 10 seconds to get the phone into the mount and adjusted so the straps don't cover the light sensor at the top or the fingerprint sensor at the bottom. Even with the phone mounted on my road bike bars, I have enough room to use all 3+ hand positions. The phone is LOCKED into the mount and I'm about 900% confident it will never fall out. The only minor annoyance is the phone and mount will rotate around the handlebar during sustained vibration or over big bumps. On a 2 hour ride I'll usually have to adjust it a few times, but that only involves pushing on top of the phone to rotate it back the other way.I've only been using it for a week, so I can't speak to the durability, but it feels sturdy and I don't see it falling apart anytime soon. Having my fitness tracker up during the entirety of my ride has provided enough of a feedback loop to increase my average speed by almost 10%. I guess I didn't realize how much I was slacking. The Bike Tie is great; I'd recommend it for serious or casual riders.EDIT: One of the corner loops finally failed after 5 years. I ride a lot, so it's seen plenty of sun exposure. I also loaded my phone unevenly so applied quite a bit of extra stretch. I'm about to order another.

Holds my 11 phone with a wallet on the back
The media could not be loaded. Perfect size for holding my iPhone 11 with a wallet and ring on the back. It’s stable when I ride my bike . It’s easy to put on and remove . It’s very sturdy as I don’t have to worry about my phone falling off while I ride . Performs well !

Better for Golf Cart
This was horrible for mountain bike usage. The phone rattled against the goose neck, too much banging for the phone. I gave up on it for a very long time till today. I tried it out when golfing. It worked perfectly. Very easy to put on square bar and held tight. I will use this for golfing all the time now, so much more convenient when using the yardage app. Plus half the price of the ones made for golfing.

Holds securely!
This just came yesterday (bought on Prime Day) and I used it this morning on a 22 mile ride. The corner bands are so close to the edge of the phone that I feared I would hit a bump and it would go flying. But it held securely the whole time, even when I reached around the back to use the fingerprint scanner to unlock my phone. I hit some substantial bumps as well as some repetitive vibrations (a lengthy boardwalk) and it held my LG V40 thinQ securely the whole time. I like this better than my old case and am happy with it.Update: I have had this phone holder for about a year and 7 months. One of the 4 corner bands just broke today. The cycling season here is about 9 months long and I have probably ridden 7k miles since getting this phone holder. Even though it broke, I feel like I got my money's worth. I am reordering the exact same one because I love the design. A lot of the similar ones cover up the finger print sensor on the back of my phone, so this one works perfect for my phone. (I can't switch to facial recognition because I have a visor --- bug shield --- on my bike helmet that covers the top half of my face.) Also, I have a Pop Socket on the back of my phone case and it still fits on this holder without a problem. Even though I think this is a bit overpriced compared to other similar ones available on Amazon, since this design works better for my phone, I am willing to pay the higher price for this one.

Simple, light, flexible, but still secure.
This thing rocks. Light weight, but sturdy. I use it with the standards iPhone11 with a medium size case. I also tried it with no case and it still held tight. I love that it moves and has a slight jiggle, but is still secure. Actually makes it more useable than on rigid bike mounts I’ve tried. It’s also so easy to remove and mount that I switch it regularly between bikesOnly thing I’d worry about would be longevity. Strap attaching to the bike may wear and loosen over time. Also, you would want to make sure there is a large spot to attach this to your bar. Angle and width of your particular bar may be an issueAs far as the reports of it throwing phones during bumps, I’ve ridden HARD and had no issues inside or outside of my case. Maybe for other phone sizes, but the iPhone 11 works like a dream

It fits its purpose! But, definitely NOT for off-roading.
I have to start with saying it is a good product that is made out of a pretty good quality rubber.I was looking for an optional soft phone-holder for my mtb and found this one.At first, it seemed like something I could use (on my mtb for riding some rough rocky roads), but I think I made the wrong choice. It is too soft and because it's all made out of rubber, your phone keeps vibrating a lot and at certain jumps and drops it may keep slamming around against the handlebar or frame, depending on where you put it.I also experienced it slipping away and the phone almost fell off.Maybe a good choice for commuters or road-bikers, but definitely NOT for mountainbikers wanting to go off-road sometimes.
