How can I even begin. This is perfect for soup, for frying for reheating and everything in between. We bought it to use when we checked in to Legoland hotel that has no microwave. We cook rice on it as well if you know the concept of turning it up high first then lowering it after it boils. We made instant noodle soup, fried some egg and sausage. The possibility is endless. I love the fact that it is non-stick as it is easier to clean. Love that the top is clear. Size is perfect for 3 adults or 2 adults 2 kids.

This is a cute small sized 2L electric hot pot. Can be used for camping, RV living, really anywhere. I like the natural color it comes in since my cooking utensils and dishes are the same neutral colors. The non stick coating on the inside of the pot seems in fact non stick. I use either silicone or wooden cooking utensils for this. I wouldn’t use stainless steel utensils for this as you want to prevent scratches and damage to the inside of the pot. Now it does come with a detachable power cord, so for anyone wondering how to clean this hot pot without submerging it in water, you can easily wipe down the inside with a wet paper towel then finish with a dry paper towel. You do not need to actually wash this with a sponge or scrubber. It has a nice weight to it but is still lightweight and does not take up hardly any counter space. The lid has ventilation holes and while in use the steam coming out is very hot so keep the ventilation holes away from your arm when uncovering the lid. It heats up very quickly if you turn it on its highest setting. There are only 2 settings, but I find using it on its highest setting works well for me when making noodles, eggs, soups, etc. the light will come in when you turn the knob to the desired setting. It switches off intermittently as a safety precaution while in use but turns right back on a minute later. This does not affect the cooking process, it’s only to make sure it doesn’t get overly heated. The pot does not get too hot on the outside that you won’t be able to handle it. After making some ramen, I could immediately unplug it and transfer the pot onto the table and eat out of it. There is a portion line on the inside labeled MAX. This is to ensure liquids you put inside of it doesn’t bubble over or out while cooking. I made a shrimp Alfredo pasta with this but cooked the pasta noodles in a separate pot, but I made everything else in this hot pot. This would be ideal for your college student, camper, small apt, or hotel travel since hotels typically only have a microwave. I think this would make a great gift as well! The price is more than fair and it does come with a warranty and I think this cooking appliance is literally fool proof to use. I stopped using my huge crock pot and instead use this since it’s just my husband and I, and a large sized crock pot is a pain to use when I’m not making huge portions of a roast or stew. This small pot is also easier for me to handle since I have hand tremors and loss of dexterity, while a large crock pot is quite heavy and my crock pot isn’t non stick either. Clean up with this is a breeze. My husband loves using this himself!

🔥 This product is DANGEROUS – nearly set my kitchen on fire Yeah, it cooks fast — too fast. The temperatures are way too high. First time I bought it, the product broke. Gave it the benefit of the doubt and tried again — second time, it nearly caught FIRE. It overheated, drained all the water, melted the plastic food bag, and burned my wall electrics. I was right there the whole time. Not safe at all. Just get a slow cooker or cook it on the hob. This is a disaster waiting to happen. Thank God I have my plug fixed now.

This electric cooker is one of the best purchases I have made in a while! I have purchased the 1.5 L electric cooker. At the time I am typing this, I was able to use it and it worked fantastic. I was able to boil water and cook 8 jumbo sized dumplings at one time. I was also able to cook two packets of ramen at one time. The small manual says to wait 10 minutes for the water to boil on high but it took less than that to come to a boil. I would say about 3 to 4 minutes. There's two different temperature controls and they are vastly different. There is Low and High. High is to be expected and it similar to a med high to high setting on a stove. Low is definitely low to medium low, as when I turn to Low from High, the temperature decreases greatly like it would on a stove as well. This makes the boiling more to a simmer which is great when you are cooking dumplings so it doesn't boil over and also when cooking ramen so it's still hot but not boiling while you are trying to eat. I love the functionality of it as it is easy to eat out of, just be careful of the exposed ceramic as it's hot like a pot would. It does get quite hot on the bottom so I would suggest using a pot holder or as I used, a cutting board, while using and when it is turned off if you want to be careful with where you are cooking. The cooker does cool down quickly, about 8 to 10 minutes when it is turned off and/or unplugged. When using the lid, just be careful as if you are cooking something that would cause the water to overboil, it can overboil. This is on the High setting. I just took the lid off periodically to release some of the steam and didn't have too much of a problem except some drips of water on the side. I don't think it would overboil on the Low setting but I haven't tried with just water since I cooked ramen which soaked up most of the water. I haven't been able to use this yet with anything other than ramen, as I plan to make fried rice in it one day, but it has did me well this first time that I used it. I would imagine making fried rice would go well and not be a hassle. I am very happy at the functionality of it as well as the portability, since it is small enough to take with you, so it will travel very well. It is just very easy to carry around the house as well. Washing it is a bit concerning and confusing at first since the bottom portion or the handheld portion cannot get wet, only the ceramic inside. I would suggest just gently washing it by hand, since it is not dishwasher safe. Go slow and don't turn the faucet on the highest flow to wash it or use a glass to pour water inside so it doesn't spill over the sides. Just use a paper towel or rag to wipe up the drips of water when you tip it over to rinse or dump the water out that way it doesn't go to the bottom. This is what I did before first use and right after I used it to make a meal. Since this is the first time I am using it, I will update in a few months to see how well it has held up, but it did it's job well this first time.
