Someone bought a larger one of these last year and I was surprised how useful it was. No more rummaging for a lost pot lid and no need for cling film or foil just to cover a bowl overnight in the fridge. This 20cm size was great for covering a couple of left over boiled eggs, in a small dish, for a salad next day. Even found the smaller sizes ones handy to stop wasps etc. getting inside a drinks can and giving a nasty surprise. I'm allergic to bees so I don't really want to drink one! Expensive to buy but handy and with time you could save a fortune in cling film and aluminium foil, so in the long term wallet and environmentally friendly!

Great product, flexible but robust, I have the full set which were purchased a few years ago for both microwave use & for sausepans on the cooker hob, this single purchase was for a freind.

I have 3 of these in different sizes and find them really useful. They’re great for covering bowls while microwaving, also in the fridge. Easy to wash and look good too. Love them.

Bought as a gift, as I have one myself. Use almost every day to cover bowls in microwave, or leftovers in fridge. Really handy when preparing cake/bread dough, to cover when, e.g. leaving to rise, or to develop flavour. I'm using it today to cover a lamb casserole leftover in fridge, and I'll leave the poppy cover on when microwaving stew to have for supper later. A handy addition to kitchen "batterie de cuisine". Recipient loved it, as she is a keen baker. Recommended.

A friend showed me these. I love them. So clever because they fit some of my casseroles without any lids. They beat foil covers every time.

This is a bit of a luxury as similarly efficient items are available much cheaper, but I love the look of it. I have one in a much larger size too. Very good for the environment!

I use the poppy to sit on top of my food waste stainless steel bin. I can just lift the edge with the side of my hand& while I’m cooking & pop everything in. It seals with the air a bit like suction so is doesn’t smell. I put the poppy in the dishwasher along with the small bin & the both come out new.
