I just started my second jar of this oil. It is NOT a magical hair growth oil. It does NOT make your hair grow overnight. What it does do is condition your hair and scalp to help prevent breakage and split ends. It leaves my hair soft and manageable. You have to pair it with a robust hair care routine to get results. Before applying it to your hair, add a few teaspoons of pure Jamaican black castor oil and stir until it becomes a smooth paste. It’s easier to apply and a little goes a long way.

From the first day I've received my jar of Batana Oil I applied it by rubbing some in the palms of my hands and rubbed it all over my freshly washed and conditioned hair then I greased my scalp with it and braided my hair. It made my afro textured hair soft and my hair felt stretched a little. It's like it grew right then because out of all the other greases I've used none of them felt like this. I love the smell of this oil. It smells like fresh brewed coffee and I don't drink coffee but heard coffee is a great stimulate on the scalp for blood circulation. I'm buying a jar a month because I'm on a hair challenge I gave myself to grow a huge afro by my Birthday this year in April! I might send a picture to up the sales because it's a star 5! I love the smell of this product! It smells like coffee and it a really nice hair mask. It leaves my hair feeling very moisturized, but I think it’s important that you rinse it out thoroughly and then add some conditioner after it is rinsed out.

This really makes a difference to what my hair was doing before. I usually have a lot of shedding when I do my hair routine. I actually applied it for overnight instead and rinse it out and continue with my daily shampoo and conditioner. When it was time to blow dry my hair less to no strains . I will continue to use this and give a month review

Well, I was so surprised it came in such a little container. However I love it. I have been using it on my face and neck as well as my hair. I feel the difference in my skin and hair. I will definitely buy this again. Well worth the money.

I see people pointing out the smell of this Batana oil, truth is the small is not that bad and is indeed tolerable. It smells like a coffee farm and is indeed a great oil paste. I saw noticeable hair growth over a few months and hair is smooth and shine. Can’t say if it actually strengthens the hair.

I honestly have no idea how to rate this item. I used it twice leaving it on overnight before washing out the next day. I have receding edges and thought this could help in bringing them back. This item is very thick so you have to rub it in well' preferably rubbing it in your fingers before applying to warm in it up. Once my applied to my scalp, I can't see how styling outside of putting my hair in one because this product is heavy. It does give hair a nice soft feel. I will not reorder as I was hoping this was something I could put in my hair and leave on as a moisturizer or leave in conditioner. It has a nice mixture of smells; Cocoa, chocolate, coffee and caramel, but it becomes bothersome to walk around smelling like it, so I keep my hair covered until I wash it out. My hair is left softer but I am not sure if it's this product or the conditioner I use. It is not a waste of money, but it's not what I wanted.
