I manage a telecom repair company. Dirty fiber connection is a major reason for equipment failure. We clean as many as 100 to 200 fiber connectors in a typical day. With this cleaner, all you have to do is make the connection and press down until you hear a click. When you click down, a floss like string is wiped across the fiber end, doing a pretty good job of cleaning. It usually only takes one or two clicks and you are finished. We very seldom have to pull out the wet cleaning system to clean fiber ends anymore.Bottom line, a great product that is well worth the money.

Makes fiber optic ends dirtier or just as dirty with little to no dB loss difference after multiple uses. Gave it many chances myself and so did tower crew. Maybe it was just the one I got. Would never recommend. I always go alcohol wipes if you know the technique

This tool pays for itself the first time you use it. Be sure to clean BOTH the fiber and the optical interface each time you use it. Good for about 500 clicks.
