Works great for the hot tub

This product is complete garbage. When I opened the container I couldn't breath from the extremely strong odor. Not only did the strong smell almost choke me out, when I had it in the hot tub, it also had a strong odor. I drained the tub and tried it again adjusting the feeder to a trickle. After filling the tub with fresh water and before getting into the tub, I noticed a black line at the waterline in the tub. This product is dissolving the spas rubber seals!! I also have a very expensive aluminum cover which was starting to peel the paint on the inside of the cover. DO NOT PURCHASE THIS BROMINE!! I hope I caught soon enough to ruining my hot tub.

Just what I was looking for and at a good price

These arrived in good condition. I opened tub to find a single plastic bag inside. There seem to be very few broken as I did not dump them out just moved them around. Other reviews mentioned these dissolve fast. I agree 100%. These might dissolve a little too fast. I had 5 aquadoc brand tabs in my floater opened all the way and it was barely registering any bromine. That was after a full dose of booster and a dose of non chlorine shock. The aquadoc tabs had been in the floater for 5 days and they were barely disintegrated at all. I put in 1 of this brand and the next day my bromine levels were registering perfect. I then turned floater to minimum intake to try to maintain this level. 2 days later, this brand is more than half gone and my aqua docs still have easily 3/4 left. My bromine is at the high level so I removed the floater. If you need to get your bromine up quickly these are great for that. I am not sure how well they will work to maintain a constant level as they do dissolve too fast. When my levels start to come down I will try just one tab at half to see what that does. I do think these are useable but the user MUST pay close attention to their bromine levels or you will find yourself needing a partial water change or some sodium thiosulfate.

Excellent product. Works the same as bigger name at twice the price. Like the waterproof bucket they arrive in. Not sure about the fast-dissolving claim but it does work. Highly recommended.

Not satisfied with the product. I guess I should have paid more attention to ‘fast dissolving’ in the description but this is only the second brand I have ever used in several years. These tablets dissolve 2-3x faster than the previous brands I used. On a hot tub that is only about 300 gallons this has created problems. I put three tabs in my floater (like I used to do) and they dissolved in a few days and super over concentrated the bromine in the tub. I had to drain and refill. Now I use only one tab and I have to check every few days or it’s gone and my chemical levels get all screwed up. Previous brands I have used cost 1.5x the price but dissolve much slower and maintain a much more consistent level of bromine as a result. These just dumped all the bromine in a short period of time and threw everything off. Your mileage may vary.
