In the daytime it does illuminate the picture but when it is in the dark it is just a silhouette and does not look like the picture describes.

Misleading photos
The photo on Amazon makes it appear like the top portion is see through but it’s not. You would need a second light to shine on the face of it. The only thing that glows is the outline of it. Misleading advertising photos.
