Adherers very well, some of the rolls have a splice in them 1/2 to 3/4 of the way through but no big deal.

This tape is very sticky, and I suppose that is the point of it. I have never used joist tape before, so really cannot compare to anything else or another brand. The backing paper is a pain in the butt to peel off and if you don't go straight back it will tear and it is a real pain to pick off the tape. As many have stated you really need to get the placement right the first time or you may have a hell of a time getting it off, especially if it sticks to itself.I used this on a low level deck I am building for a storage shed. I used 2x6 pressure treated boards and the tape should wrap around your 2x joists and have enough either side to have a little to roll over both edges. Since this is only 2" wide it does not have enough to stick down on both sides and make it stick down. Even though this tape is super sticky it will lift off on the sides. I chose to pick a side of the joist to make flush and 1/2" gets rolled over the other side. I expected this to be like double sided tape and be sticky on both sides, but I could not peel up any film on the top, so I guess I was wrong.This stuff cuts fine with a box cutter blade, but you will need to remove the sticky residue from the blade before you fold it in. Time will tell if this was a worthwhile investment, but I don't think it can hurt.I wish it was 3" wide so that I can roll over both sides of the joists. If this helps prolong the life of my deck I am OK with the price for 6 rolls. I would recommend this product....

Super sticky

Installed recently, so no info on longevity. We used it for something besides the top surface on supporting beams for a deck. Seems to offer a good seal.Personally, I would not count on this to protect the supporting beams for a deck, unless those beams are already the best treated lumber that you can find. Might give you an extra year or two, so fine.Somewhat hard to apply, but that's just because I am not a pro. Not difficult, but a learning experience.

These tape is a must use on rafting is wide to cover 1 1/2 edge ,the backing glue is super strong, I used on my deck,protec wood from water damage,I'll recommend it 👍
