This bread slicer is amazing! My husband bought it for a gift for me. I didn't think I needed it, but after using it I would buy it again. All of the sourdough slices are sliced evenly and it is fast and simple. You can adjust size of slice and we like them thicker. However you can make thinner slices for sandwiches. It is so much easier and more effective than using a bread knife. I think all people who make sourdough bread would love this. I highly recommend it and my friends who do sourdough wanted to get this machind after seeing our bread sliced.

So far this works great. I have used it to slice fresh loaves of brown soda bread and sourdough bread and it made easy work of both loaves. It's nice to have even, consistent slices. It's easy to use, the thickness guide adjusts easily and the suction cup feet really stick to the countertop. I will have to be careful and make sure I watch where my fingers are.

How did I go a year of bread making without this amazing item??? LOVE IT!! I cleared a spot in my cabinet and it lives here now!! I bought a me an old fashioned pastry brush to clean the bread crumbs off when I'm done. I pull it down and the suction cups keep it firm, set the width, slowly crank the easy little handle and slide the bread through. You can cut one slice or an entire loaf. Brush it off and put it away - Voila!!

I bought this manual bread slicer specifically for my homemade sourdough loaves, and it’s been a helpful tool—but not flawless. Once the loaf is properly positioned, it delivers even, uniform cuts—great for sandwiches or toast. The adjustable guides accommodate the wider size and irregular shape of sourdough, which many slicers can’t handle. Very durable It holds up well against the dense texture of sourdough. Setup takes practice It took a few tries to align the loaf just right without it shifting. Cleanup can be messy. It is very aesthetically pleasing!vA solid tool if you regularly bake sourdough, but be ready to spend a little time getting the technique down.

Makes slicing sourdough, and other breads, so much faster and easier. And the slices are so consistent, and more aesthetically pleasing! Was able to slice baguettes diagonally for bruschetta. Nice presentation.

Easy to use , perfect slices. A bit of a space hog but well worth it. It grips our granite countertop without an issue.

I am very pleased with this slicer. It is smaller than I thought it would be, which means easier storage. Changing the slice thickness is easy. I accommodates the height of my sourdough loaves--I wondered if that would work. Smooth, easy operation--and the bread slices very cleanly. Easily remove any crumbs with the brush that comes with it. I have not yet attempted to remove or clean the blade--if your bread is fully baked, it doesnt seem to gum up much. Overall, VERY HAPPY.

The feet suction does not keep it steady on my counter. Overall, this is the best solution I have for slicing sourdough. The end of the piece thens to get crooked and sometimes stuck under the blade. But overall, I’m happy.
