Good game for lads night
Same as any other year. Brilliant game.. expecially if your going to have a sesh and you really need to keep focused on something. The graphics are brilliant. But thats cuz they rob everyone like £40+ every year and make millions and can afford to improve the graphics. Game play and everything else is the same. Overall when im off me nut its brilliant game to play.. proper way to make money of ya mates to place bets. Even though i have lost way more money than i should have due to cheats and dodgy controller😉. Proper classic though to even have a few mates round crack open a few beers.. hire an escourt at half time and then finish the game and then have some enjoyment with my hard earned winnings. Then once there gone crack open more beers get the game back on, turn up the tunes, get smashed play more fifa then make the lose eat the soggy biscuit.Overall 5 star game. Worth the buy.

5% Better than last year
Good game improved on Fifa 18, some slight in game problems, FIFA seem to think Mo Salah is better than the likes of Marco Asensio, Luca Modric and Gareth Bale. PSG can’t be stopped due to three overpowers strikers. Lots of unrealistic calls but the best football game that isn’t PES.If you don’t mind if the players and clubs don’t have there real names then buy PES for a better gaming experience. If you want to play online then chose FIFA.New Champions League mode is poor just a marketing gimmick. Story mode is unnecessary lots of political correctness

Fifa for the twighlight generation
Football at its you know best! Look at that goal! A real strike! Lace on leather and who knows who will win? Welcome to fifa land of the ambitious where a few buttons are what are stopping you achieving Your all. In fifa 2019 alex furgeson has stolen the world cup and you have to track him down before the tournament ends! Or something like that Like you do matches for example against your mates.11 vs 11 what could go wrong? Annoyingly you cant get more dudes than that on the pitch but hey maybe fifa 2030?!

The best football game, but could still be better.
Having been a convert to FIFA from PES some incarnations ago and having played FIFA 19 and the new PES for some time, I still feel this is the better game. This does not however make it perfect. The game has cone in for some criticism for being a little slow and on the whole the gameplay has been slowed from previous versions but not too drastically. This to me, seems to give it a more realistic feel and still allows for quick breaks when they are done well. The graphics although not truely groundbreaking, continue to improve and the addition of the full licensing for ECL, as well as most of the top world leagues, is welcome. However, the ball physics just occasionally can feel a little off (particularly when shooting) and much of EA's time has obviously been directed towards FUT where they can encourage micro transactions. These are inevitable in modern gaming but for older gamers like myself who have seen these creep into most modern games, it still seems a shame.Overall a good looking game with a few little gameplay bugs which do not stop this being an enjoyable game.

Less Champions League and much more mid-table
The FIFA series really needs no introduction being EA Sports' best seller for years but is it really doing anything different or is it just more of the same?FIFA 19's biggest strength lies in its presentation which is now bolstered by the return of the UEFA licence which gives the European competitions full authenticity and indeed was the main selling point for the game this year. Also new as far as licencing goes is the Chinese league and most strikingly all of the Spanish stadiums with the exception of the Camp Nou being in the game due to Barcelona's deal with Konami. Besides Barcelona's stadium being out of the game there are many other omissions and ugliness which is particularly noticeable in lower league teams and their kits. Overall though it is hard to knock FIFA when it comes to licences which are as good as they have been in some time.As far as the gameplay goes I actually think it has taken a step back from FIFA 18 where the game of football is more physical this year. What's more noticeable is how much more difficult it is to score goals where every team will get men behind the ball and deflections will come from everywhere! The goalkeepers can even save shots with their faces! It is absolutely ridiculous and speaking of goalkeepers the hit detection and where they save the ball is sometimes difficult to establish with the ball going in wild directions. A new shooting mechanic has also been added which requires you to get a button press right in a sweet spot for the perfect strike. I haven't really used the gameplay feature but the shooting does feel more off than it did in 18 where lame underpowered shots are now far more common. The Journey also returns for its conclusion and I can't really say it is all that satisfying with it being a grind from start to finish. You will be rewarded with certain elements for ultimate team but I was more concerned for the narrative as far as getting me invested in the mode and I can't say a great story is here to be found. It is average but your choices really have little significance if any at all.EA Sports needs to redouble their efforts elsewhere and into the Career Mode which is increasingly stale. It is largely unchanged from 18 although there are now new leagues to tackle if so desired but transfers are still unrealistic and it really is a mode that could be built upon. It is never going to be Football Manager but some more realistic manager AI wouldn't go amiss either but EA's main focus is the Ultimate Team because of the revenue it generates and you really can't blame them although I have next to no interest in the mode which remains pay to win.---Summary---Graphics 9 - Generally very good although not quite Madden level good. The silverware still looks really ugly and player faces are hit and miss.Sound 8 - The Champions League anthem is all there now following a patch which is nice with new commentary from Derek Rae and Lee Dixon which isn't as good as from Tyler or Smith as it is often more repetitive, but still it's something new.Gameplay 7 - A step backwards from 18 because now every team defends like Lithuania and there really is not much variety in AI defensive set ups. Frustrating.Lifespan 8 - There is lots of stuff to keep you occupied and particularly in Career and Ultimate Team and The Journey is about 8-10 hours should you play through it.FIFA 19 is a somewhat disappointing experience that really adds nothing new apart from a Champions League reskin. If you can live without that I would say that 18 is the better game but it is also undeniable that there is a wealth of content here to get stuck into for the football fanatic. Overall EA Sports serve up another serviceable title which is the norm because it's nothing new, radical or indeed absolutely necessary unless you really care for the Champions League/Europa League licence.

just brilliant
ok...here is my review....when you are playing a top team for etc man utd.... liverpool..... and you want to save a game .well the bad news is it won,t... ive played huddersfield town, the first time around i thought yeah its ok....but when you play 10 games later.....you save it...thats a big no no....when you boot up your machine to play where you left off,,, you end up playing the first game that you started off with so you are no further forward.......E.A HAVE TOTALLY SCREWED IT UP so in my opinion you have to play the whole 38 games straight off

Better value than the most up to date version
My son plays this most frequently and has fun changing his players looks and playing to the timetable. Bought this as it was much cheaper than the most up to date game and he doesn’t mind at all. It does have some very, very, very repetitive commentary if you’re in the same room while it’s being played.
