BOB Books: Emerging Readers Workbook

Excellent curriculum that goes along with the books. Has stickers and checklists to keep students motivated. Love these and used them to teach a 5yo how to read.

I'm very I pressed with these books! I bought all three and my son loves bob books so correlating work sheets help a ton. We have been using abeka for homeschooling which he hasn't loved but he actually doesn't fight working out of these books! Just wish I found them at the beginning of the year instead of the end! Perfectly correlates with the bob book readers.

Bob books are great and the activity books help my kid enjoy them even more!

This workbook provides activities that increase reading skills in comprehension and phonics. My grand loves the word fine puzzles. He can now complete the activities by himself which has really boosted his confidence. I wish I had bought the workbooks sooner.

I love love this book and it is definitely one of my favorites. It is divided into 3 sections: learning words, grammar for kindergarten, and grammar for 1st grade. There are 10-12 books/chapters under each section. Each chapter is about 6 pages.Visual: colorful with a lot of pictures. Each page is teaches different things so it is not overwhelming.Writing: the lines are big enough so a child can write it without difficulty. It is for children who already knows how to write letters but needs more practice.Activities: There are so many fun and different activities such as coloring, word find, fill in the blank, and stickers.Difficulty level:This book is great for children who ...-already know how to write alphabet letters-still need to practice writing in between the lines-can read simple words-already have some concepts of basic phonics-are starting to learn grammarThere are different types of Bob books and they teach different things. For those who are thinking about buying it, I hope the pictures will help you to decide whether this book is right for the child. The book was perfect for mine.

As a teacher, I appreciate the level of complexity in the workbook pages. It helps if you’re progressing day by day in a specific reading and math skills. I used it for my kindergartners going to 1st grade.

This work book is perfect for kids who have started to sound out short words. My PreK4 (5yo) daughter has just started to read CVC (Consonant vowel consonant) words. After 2 weeks of looking/reading a phonic book this book is an excellent next step for her. She is able to do some work independently and she absolutely loves this book.I also got the Kindergarten workbook for my 4yo (PreK3) who knows all alphabet letters and sounds and the Kindergarten book is just right for her level... The Kindergarten workbook has too much tracing in the first part of the book so I guess it is good training for kids who are just learning to write the letters. The activities get a lil better at the last part of the book.

Love the workbook. Goes well with beginner BOB books

Our oldest child used this book and we found the work easy to split up daily with clear sections that can be accomplished by my son. It has the right mix of fun and work to keep him interested. Now that he's older we're wanting to buy the same book for our 2nd child before he goes to Kindergarten. We tried other books but found them to be less focused and harder to distribute daily. Prices are hard to beat on Amazon. We checked around other stores and found them to be more expensive. Costco was the exception except they did not have this version.

The book has been a big success with my kid. In just a couple days he has read 5 books and answered all the activities in the workbook for each book. Kids love earning stickers for each read book.

It's a very nice workbook. It has lots of fun activities, and my kids really loved it.

My daughter Loves these workbooks and the box set of Bob books! Definitely would recommend these books!!
