Bearing puller
Not needed to use it yet but looks like it will do what's required when required

A decent set of tools but the case is way too flimsy for the items within it.
The tools are great and easy to use. My husband has opted to keep them in another case though as the one they came in is rather on the flimsy side.

A very solid kit set for separating & removing bearings, but needs better instructions for beginners
I previously had a very similar set to this which I also purchased from Amazon a few years ago and it was was also a GEARCELL. Unfortunately that was stolen from my garage recently along with a few other tools. I got this one to replace the old one so I just went with GEARCELL again as the last GEARCELL one was really well made and nothing had gone wrong with it in about the 3 years that I had it.I've not had a chance to try this one yet but the build quality seems to be on a par with the last one I had. In fact they are almost identical, and this is probably the same version improved upon. It seems very solid and if it's anything like the last set then it will be just as reliable and capable of handling more demanding tasks then what I would ever use it for as I'm just a DIY'er when it comes to messing around with car parts. You can just see and feel the heavy duty construction when you look at it and then pick it up.The 2" and 3" splitters make it suitable for a range of tasks such as separating gears and pulleys and not just bearings. The inclusion of the hexagonal push-pull legs provide a secure grip during operation and reduce the risk of slipping. The set also comes with extension legs, which are essential for reaching deeper or more recessed bearings. With all the bits together, and used in conjunction with one another (rather than mixing other parts with it), the set is designed to handle up to 5 tons of pressure so so it's probably more suited to full time mechanics who will get a lot more use out of it then I would. It also comes in a nice sturdy case specifically made for it so it keeps everything organised and in its place. The only reason why I have marked it down a star is because of the poor instructions on how to assemble and use it. If you’re familiar with using bearing pullers, this won’t be an issue, but for beginners, the instructions really don't help much at all. I would suggest that if you haven't used a similar kit before, then just take a few moments to find a guide or video online which gives you step by step instructions on how to use it.

does the job
Simply I was doing a little project on repairing the wheel hub on my car. I had a little problem while I was trying to remove one of the stubborn pulleys therefore I got this cooler separator kit to help me out.Setting up the splitter and puller was quite easy and straightforward. Once it was assembled, I was able to remove the pulley without any problems. Each piece in the tool set is made of heavy duty carbon steel which is able to withstand high pressure and stress without bending or breaking. This is a definite keeper.

very good
it’s very good and really efficient, it’s a good size and it’s so worth the money considering how much tools you get

Complete set.
The equipment itself is good quality, very sturdy. The case dose feel very lightweight and somewhat flimsy for the weight of the tools.
