A great unusual seasoning!
I bought this on the strength of an article in Saveur magazine- it was something of a risk because it's not cheap ($17.00 a bottle). But I can say it was worth it to me. It's actually not very spicy- it looks like it would be almost inedible due to the bright red color and all the chili seeds in it. I thought it would be extremely hot, but it isn't- it's more salty than spicy. It also isn't very fishy, it's just an interesting somewhat salty flavor I can't describe, but as the Saveur article said, it's great on pizza! Anyway, I'm very satisfied and will get some for my foodie friends as a present.

Bland/tasteless
Was told it was garlicky , peppery, and spicy! It was neither! It was bland! Definitely not worth the price!

It doesnt taste fishy at all.
It doesnt taste fishy at all. Not spicy at all, good with crostini. Added it on pasta and a little bit of parmesan and garlic.

Love this stuff! I first read about it in Saveur magazine. My homemade pizzas have never tasted better. Could not be happier!

An excellent buy
A combination of seasoned fish that tastes more like soppresata. We put on everything from bread to pizza to eggs.
