Great plug's easy to fit takes only 30 seconds
Great plug's easy to fit. Saves space behind your speakers. Buy theses you will not be disappointed, price is right great quality for a smaller banana plug, takes all size cables. Perfect easy to fit to my speaker cables great service very fast delivery with no problems Items as described by seller brand new and well packaged Thank You so much These speaker plugs are far better than those with screws to hold the wire in " no loosing the screw and no screw to stick out because the wire is a bit on the thick side... so simple to use, and you can put your speaker closer to the wall Unscrew the plug put your wire through ether the red or black end piece, strip the outer plastic off the cable to bare spray or spread out the copper wire put the two pieces together and screw them up the wire... spray or spread out the copper wire put the two pieces together and screw them up Job done Unscrew the plug put your wire through ether the red or black end piece, strip the outer plastic off the cable to bare the wire... spray or spread out the copper wire put the two pieces together and screw them up Job done All you need is wire strippers... And no fussing about with screws with tops that wont fit because the screw is sticking out or damaged threads or loosing the screw

Banana plugs....
As a musician with a huge pedal board I love the idea of solderless jack plugs, but my goodness do you have to pay for them..£80 £100 for 10 or something ridiculous, so when I went to hook up my 5.1 and needed solderless connectors I thought I was in for the same treat of being royally ripped off...but..NO...these things are great. Super easy to put together, built like little tanks and work perfectly and great value for money..... so the likes of George L, etc listen up... you see you can produce top rated, well designed, solidly built solder less connectors without ripping people off.. Would I buy these again? In a heartbeat...brilliant.

The Only Banana Plugs You'll Ever Need
I have purchased all three different Sewell Banana Plugs - the Sewell Silverback Banana Plugs, Dual Screw Lock, 12 Pairs and Sewell Pro Maestro Banana Plugs, 24K Gold Connectors, 12 Pair , and these Deadbolts are the cheapest and the best. The process of connecting your cables is so simple, it's misleading. You simply cut back the insulation about 1 cm, pass the bare wire up through the black body of the plug, fold it down in 3 or 4 places around the circle, then push the other half of the plug on (the gold pin) to force the cable into the body of the plug and screw it up tight, No need for screwdrivers and it will take fairly thick cable. The only note of caution I would make is that the colour differentiation on the plug body isn't great, just consisting of a thin stripe of a dull, dark red, or black within a black body. But that's a very minor niggle. My title is a little misleading, as I am currently using all three types of Sewell Plugs. I'm using a medium sized bi-wire cable as bi-wired on two systems (one 5.1 AV, one stereo) and bi-amped on one (9.2 AV). I use the Deadbolts for the BASS connection on all speakers, and the Deadbolt is big enough to merge two wires in for bi-wiring. I then use the Sewell Pro Maestro for the RIGHT Channel on the HIGH connections at both ends for Bi-Amping and the Speaker end for Bi-Wiring, and Sewell Silverback for the LEFT Channel in the same way - this makes the identification of different channels far easier when you're lying on your back with a torch in your mouth struggling to plug the last few cables in. I've also used the Sewell Deadbolt 45° Spade Plugs, 6 Pack at the speaker end for one of my Surround Channels (Canon S50s) as the wall bracket used doesn't allow for banana plugs and I didn't like the bare wire option I was using. Do yourself a favour and treat your system to a set of the Sewell Deadbolts - count carefully as if you're bi-wiring/bi-amping and running multi-channel AV systems, the number of plugs required soon add up - I bought the 24-pack versions of all three plugs (a biamped stereo pair requires 16 plugs, plus another 12 for Centre and surround for 5.1, so 28 for my main system, which could increase by 12 if I used the full 9 channels). Seems fine will update after some use when the AV SYSTEM ...
Next day delivery on time well packed and have attached a few cables to check the fit from thin silver coated richer sounds cable to hefty OFG copper 180 strand. Seems fine will update after some use when the AV SYSTEM is all wired up. They are excellent quality and well machined, incredibly easy to fit and they are a tight fit in the speakers and the amp. My only concern is the "Chinese lantern" style Spring tensioner that holds them in contact with the banana sockets. I have never found these to be the best or greatest surface contact and previous plugs from other Manufacturers have loosened with time. This is probably only going to be an issue if you have to remove them a number of times which I do. I also use some fiscal plugs that have a larger surface area contact point. The plus with the fisual is that the protruding body is plastic and even if they touch when you move or accidently pull in the speaker cables the bodies won't short out. The Sewell plugs are wider and metal body so they are very close to each other in the back of my AV Amps. It's a point to consider and you could always use some insulating tape or a few winds of PTFE tape if concerned. They are a bit shorter in length than other plugs so don't extrude from the equipment as much.

Great product
I much prefer these to any other type of banana plug. They are very easy to wire up, have a very high quality feel to them and perform flawlessly. They are however the same size as other plugs I have so I would not say they are low profile. I would have gone with 5 stars but one of the plugs had not been drilled correctly, rendering it useless.

Ótimo produto. Permite que todos os filamentos do cabo estejam em contato com o plug.

I grabbed the banana and spade plugs both - build quality is high, threads to assemble are machined perfectly, and they work very well. I built cables with 14 and 12awg wire both and they both worked as expected with no issues during assembly, connectivity, or in actual use passing sound. I was interested in having good speaker cable, good connections into my amp and speakers, and good overall sound. Most of the crazy expensive speaker cables are 8 feet - I needed 25 footers to work with my setup - so I grabbed some Mogami and Canare cable, shrink wrap, wire loom, and these cable ends and built some very nice cables. It would be nice to A/B these with some of the AQ or other expensive banana or spade connectors, but $50 per pair is a lot and I really think they would sound the same in most systems. If you're stuck $15k or more you may opt to go the expensive route. For everyone else, buy with confidence and make high quality cables with these cable ends. If I need more I'll order these for sure. Quality product.
