Used this for the 1st time today on a case for an industrial press toll. The tool itself is very very heavy and the case was cracked from one side to the other to the point where the contents could fall out. I was convinced this job was too heavy for it but it is a remarkably solid repair and surprisingly neat. I am vey impressed. My colleagues are all mechanical engineers and are equally impressed.An absolutely fantastic piece of kit.

First off: this item works really well and comes with MORE than enough staples to get you started. To the point the case barely shuts. I appreciate that.However: it is worth knowing that on this item, you must repeatedly pull the trigger to re-heat. You get about a 2-second shot of heat when you pull the trigger, then it stops - but the light remains on. For thick plastic and thick staples, which I was using for a garden storage bin repair, you must re-click the trigger a couple of times in a row to heat the staple up sufficiently.I confirmed this with the seller and now that I know this is what you have to do, it's perfectly usable, but this isn't mentioned anywhere.

Worked absolutely fantastic….. came to use it the following day and it’s now useless! Only heats up the staples if held horizontally and then it takes ages, the thermal cut out comes in!! Hopefully just a faulty one and not what they are all like! I’m going to order another one!!!!

they've put a lot of love into this design - the gun comes in a beautiful clear plastic case - haven't tried it yet , but my first impressions are well done and thanks!

I'm not an expert with these devices nor have I used them before so please take my review with a grain of salt.I got this as I had a couple of small fiddly plastic items to repair and crikey it's easy! I managed to repair snapped handles etc and it was quite a breeze. The instructions are clear but after watching a video tutorial it was super easy to use. Heats up nicely does the job and works well
