Not sure if I'll ever use all of this, but it was very inexpensive. If you've never used graphite on a door lock, hinge, etc. you will not believe how much easier your key will turn after using this. I got a blunt-tip small syringe to draw up the graphite & puff into the locks to lubricate the whole assembly. Alternately you can dip the tip of your key into the graphite, insert, turn and it will lubricate the lock tumblers.Graphite can be messy - have a damp paper towel with you.

The description is accurate, and it is a great value for the money. It is very fine graphite powder. It is messy but the messier the better! It mixes well with wax if you're into making your own lubricant in your woodworking shop! Make sure you protect whatever you may be mixing this stuff over. It will smear when trying to clean it up! Don't wear your Sunday best unless you don't mind getting a little dirty! This 1 pound tub should last me a very long time!

It is powder just like the text says but I was not prepared to have to choose a grit size. Didn't know the bottle stuff from ACE Hardware even had a grit designation.The graphite came packaged in a pouch. Heavy duty but not a jar like the main picture shows. Weird, now I have to find the old jar and transfer it over for use.

I bought this graphite powder to use with my long range rifles. I like to coat the barrel with a very thin coating of graphite before heading to the range. This powder works great for that application. I also purchased a set of - "6 Pcs Glue Applicator Bottles, 30ml Plastic Squeezable Dropper Bottles with Blunt Needle Tips" - https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09R4DYDHC?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details. These little bottles work great as puffer applicators to use to inject an atomized cloud of graphite into my barrel. I then follow that "puff" with a dry mop to evenly spread the graphite through the barrel and remove any excess. This also works great for applyig a little "puff" of graphite into locks, to help free them up and make them operate smmothy. One note of caution - when you get this, open it out doors. The bottle comes wraped in saran wrap, but there will be a lot of "escaped" graphite that will go everywhere when you remove the saran wrap. I had to wash the bottle off in my garage deep sink, so that I could handle it without getting graphite on my hands when I touch the bottle. The bottle doesn't seal very well. I would recommend storing it in a 1 gallon ziper closure platic bag to prevent moistre from getting in, and graphite from getting on ony adjacent items (this stuff is very slipery and will get everywhere!). Also, if you go the puffer bottle route - be sure to never invert the bottle to spray it - it will dispense way too much powder. To use the puffer bottles, you need to only fill the bottle half full. Then genly shake it to generate a little cloud of graphite. Then you can inject this cloud into what ever needs lubricating.

This product is not as shown in the picture.The picture clearly shows the 8 ounce size in a jar.It shows the larger sizes in bags.My 8 ounce order came in a bag.The problem is that the bag is super messy.You get the fine powder all over the place when trying to use it.I recommend that you buy a differet brand.I will next time.

Very high quality powder that spreads very evenly on my products. There is a lot of powder here for a very reasonable price. I may never need any graphite powder ever again. To be clear, I use this for crafts rather than lubrication.

Graphite powder works great for images. I’m very pleased with the product.
