Bafang are one of the leaders when it comes to ebike motors. The kit I bought from Lascycle-EU was 250w as this is the maximum allowed wattage here in the UK. Lascycle-EU were extremely efficient with super quick delivery. One thing Bafang could and should do is provide the buyer a comprehensive installation manual with the kit. Had that been available to me it would have saved a lot of head scratching and also explained why I had 2 connectors on the wiring loom spare with nothing to connect too. A schematic illustration of the wiring would have been very handy as well. I had already converted one mountain bike and this was a definite bonus as I knew what to expect. Bafang had also changed some of the design of the electrical connectors, also some of the orange plug colours were very sketchy being different shades which complicated matters. That said, with a little common sense it can all be worked out. The colour coding of the plugs is a great idea as it makes connection of the wiring pretty easy. It is clear when fitting that the Bafang kit is of really good quality. It is also good that everything is packed separately, like little mini kits within the main kit, so there is no confusion with things like screws, you know that to fit an item you have to use the screws that are provided in the bag with the separate item. You also get with the kit the essential tools required to fit the motor kit, not all the tools, but the most essential ones. If you are considering buying the Bafang kit you will not regret it, it is a great motor that works very well. As a footnote, prior to fitting the motor buy yourself a large bag of assorted zip ties, your going to ned them ;)

Was a little bit of a pain to install and you will need extra tools not included in the kit. If you have the tools to service your bike, you should be able to install the kit. Only thing you might need is a decent bb remover. Could benefit from a few extra screws for mounting the battery and some larger cable ties. One downside is it lacks clear, in-depth instructions. Seller is listed on the Bafang website and the motor works as expected. Cheaper than many non-Amazon sellers. I didn’t get the included battery so I can’t comment about those. One thing to keep in mind is that I had to message the seller before buying to let them know I had a 73mm bb as it requires special screws, but the seller included those with no extra charge. Overall I’m happy

Ok so got the motor ,parts missing, took awhile to even get anything sorted ,still waiting on parts , bought another part to get it working and it lasted a dayish error 30 ,now still waiting on original parts and now a cable to see if it fixes the problem, seller doesn't accept returns. Never again from this seller

I bought this for a tandem as the hub mounted motor I had previously fitted overheated on hill and stopped working to cool down. This motor has adequate power to help on steep hills but also provides very smooth help for general riding.

Servicio Postventa perfecto. Llegó todo bien embalado y empaquetado, faltaba el sensor de velocidad de la rueda y después de que lo comprobarán, me enviaron el sensor. Muy amables y atentos, si quieres montarte un motor eléctrico en tu bicicleta que sea decente aquí lo tienes por un precio razonable. 100% recomendado PD: hay tutoriales en Youtube de como montarlo fácilmente pero comprueba las medidas de tu bicicleta para pedirlo de la talla correcta del tamaño del pedalier.

Habe mir ein anderes Display gekauft! Jetzt fährt sich's angenehm. Das mitgelieferte Display hat sich aufgehängt. Nicht fahrbar! Warten brachte nichts! Kann ja auch woanders kaufen... 5 Sterne kann ich wegen erheblicher Zusatzkosten dem VERKÄUFER nicht geben! Keine Empfehlung von mir!

Très bon produit. Par contre les aides au montage et au paramétrage sont uniquement en Anglais. Dommage il faut se débrouiller par soit même

For the motor installation, everything is fine. No issues to report. Regarding the installation of the front plate, it normally requires 5 M5 screws, but I only have 4. Another negative point: a cable for controlling the motor cut-off (hydraulic brakes) is cut/crushed. Final point: the screw for attaching the magnet to a spoke (speed sensor) is missing. In short, really not up to standard!!!
