Noguchi Style Akari Floor Lamp, Rice Paper Lantern for Establishing A Warm and Cozy Ambiance in Any Room (Cloud), Japanses Floor Lamp

Simple to assemble and looks great!

I wanted the akari lamp but an original is $600. (For a paper lamp!) this is the cheapest alternative I could find (couldn’t find any used ones). It doesn’t have the leather strap like a real akari, but that’s expected. The faux wood is a bit orange, but overall it’s nice and has a beautiful glow. The light bulb it comes with is insanely garish, very cool toned light, so will need a different bulb.

The lamp works great! The shade fits over the internal wire easy. I would give the paper some time to stretch if you want to be careful, but it went on fine for me. I've had issues with other brands ripping but this one worked great. No dimmer switch like the others and the chord is a bit shorter but worth it for me because the others ripped.

The cord dangling is less than ideal. The build is a little flimsy. Aesthetically, the lamp looks great.

This Noguchi-style paper lamp looks like the real thing and adds a soft, elegant touch to the room. The size and height are perfect for my needs, fitting beautifully into my space. I was happy that it includes an LED bulb, although I did end up replacing it with my own smart bulb for my purposes. The paper shade is slightly uneven, but with a little twisting and turning, it’s easy to position it so it goes mostly unnoticed. Overall, it’s a lovely lamp with great presence and value.

Cute lamp and seems to be made with good quality paper. However the legs weren't all the same length, so it was quite wobbly and I had to bend some of them to stabilize it. The bulb's light was also much cooler toned than most of the pictures show.

shes a cute vibe!! good alternative for the expensive original japandi style akari lamp. i just needed something that looked similar for the aesthetic and this did the job perfectly. easy to set up less than 5 min

I’ve looked around and can confidently say this is the best dupe for Noguchi lamp on Amazon. It’s lightweight, great size, easy to assemble, pretty sturdy though I don’t expect it to be - it should be a nice ambient light placed on low traffic areas. The bulb that comes with it is cheap, I suggest using your own LED bulb. Overall great purchase!

The paper lamp looks so good, the paper is delicate but feels sturdy at the same time. Putting it together was easy, I didn't use the included wrench tool and tightened it with my fingers. The only thing I don't like about it is that the light bulb included with it is a cool white light instead of a yellow warm light. Otherwise satisfied with the purchase.

Great little light. Nice ambience in the room in the evening. Had it set up and turned on within minutes of taking it out of the box when it arrived. One little recommendation or observation I guess, if you have cats keep an eye on them mine seems to like to try to pick at the paper.
