I found the installation to be easy
I've seen the reviews, and I think that those who struggled with this product may have been applying the cut strips in low temperatures. If it is cold in your space then consider submerging them in warm water to make them soft before slipping them over the edge of the jalousie. My jalousies were rattling in response to low frequency sound (bass drum, traffic etc.) This has made them quiet, and perhaps a little less drafty too.

Slight change in material and how its spooled
Bought a roll of this material a couple of years ago and found it to work great. It was slightly stiffer material which allowed the "fin" to really extend out and seal out the water between the slats. Decided to go all in and just bought three more rolls. This newer batch seemed to be of a slightly softer material which I really liked at first because it was easier to handle. However, as I got in about 80 - 90 feet in the roll, it appeared that when they spooled the material, it was too tight. The material had gotten twisted, so the tension made it harder to install. Also, certain areas of the "fin" was either wavy, which affected the seal, or was smashed down nearly flat, which again negatively affected the seal. I'm hopeful that while its installed and straight, keeping the windows shut tight in the sunlight a couple of days will help to alleviate this issue. Overall, I would purchase the product again, but I would potentially factor in a 10-15% wastage for that last length of material on the inner part of the spool. I believe if the spooling was just a bit looser, it would improve the delivered product.

👍
I love this, but some parts are bent or folded, preventing it from covering the open areas. Does anyone have any ideas on how to make it cover properly?

Not very useable
Believe the other reviews! I certainly should have before I purchased this. While in theory it would have been an excellent product to help seal the gaps between jalousie windows, in practice it’s not - mainly because, as the other negative reviews have stated, the material is all warped. The closer you get to the center of the spool, the worse it gets. I’d say about halfway through the spool the rubber is so warped that it’s impossible to put on your windows. The only way I got mine to stay was to use some type of adhesive and clips on each jalousie to keep them somewhat straight until the glue dried. It was a massive pain to use these.I would have returned this, but I’d already cut up the material.I think unless someone can find a way to have the spool unravel evenly and keep the rubber straight, this item is mostly useless.

Exactly what I needed for my jalousie windows
Been looking for a solution that will close the gap between 6mm glass louvres. Appearance did not obstruct the clear view of the window. Easy to install and remove. Thick enough to look like it will last. The part that will connect to the upper slat would have been perfect if it were longer. The only challenge I encountered was when I was less than a quarter to the end of the roll. The strips were twisted making it difficult to measure and cut accurately. The lip that will connect to the upper slat was nearly folded so the seal was not tight and we’re with gaps. Overall, still value for money - helped with insulation and sound proofing.

unable to apply due to multiple kinks
There was a small portion of the order that was able to be applied to the window and stay put. The majority of the roll was kinked and rolled in such a way that it was unable to flatten out enough to be useable. I think the concept is nice, but it didn't work for us.

it comes all bended in a roll
I did placed it on my windows, but due to the fact that it's all bended in a roll, it doesn't cover what is suppose to cover on the windows.

It works great!
I was looking for something to seal jealousies without having to continually tape the windows. This works great and is just what I was looking for! The only issue I would say is that you have to double up on some of the windows because the flap doesn’t come out wide enough. Also, it is costly but I am still really happy! Definitely is so much better then tape and works great!
