We do not recommend it. It is water-resistant, not water-proof.

I have used it in both areas, and have no complaints. It works really well for the money. I had surgery with a bit of a scar and it works well over that without irritation. I would recommend this product to anyone. Hope the information helps.

Q: Can this shaver be used to remove hair from chin?

I would not recommend it. I read a lot about what to use for what part of the body and tweezers or chemical hair removers are recommended for chin area. Electric shavers do not shave close enough for the chin area..so you get stubble look for normal hair. I have noticed that this shaver does a great job on legs, but not as close as a razor. Check out Tweezer Man--have a tool specifically for the chin area--works like threading.

It can be used wet or dry, will shave gel or cream if preferred. We do recommend thoroughly cleaning after using products and allowing to completely airdry after use.
